Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Showcase in Pink Velvet for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! Today’s a sketch week challenge and I know you’ll see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop.

I went straight-up Clean-and-Simple this week and it wasn’t easy, let me tell you!  I mean – it IS a quick and easy and clean and simple card.  It’s just not easy for ME to make a quick and easy and clean and simple card.  But – I persevered and used the new Snowfall Thinlits (which will be available on 1 Nov!) and added a couple of sentiments from the Christmas Traditions set (found in the Christians Traditions Punch Box!!).  Take a look-see:

I started with a panel of Whisper White that I embossed in the Tufted Dynamic TIEF.  Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I popped the embossed panel onto a Petal Pink mat.

I cut the large and lovely snowflake using the die in the Snowfall Thinlits from a piece of White Velvet Paper (these are both part of the Snowflake Showcase coming on 1 Nov).  With a Sponge Dauber, I sponged the velvet snowflake with Petal Pink ink.  Then I adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

In the middle, I added a new Snowflake Trinket (yep – coming on 1 Nov) with a Glue Dot.

I stamped a Christmas Traditions sentiment in Petal Pink on a piece of Whisper White and cut it with the Christmas Traditions punch (this – along with the stamp set and a Call Me Clover and Real Red Ink Spot are all inside the pretty Christmas Traditions Punch Box!).

I popped the sentiment onto the card front with Stampin’ Dinensionals and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second Christmas Traditions sentiment in Petal Pink to a Whisper White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and into my Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got some snowflakes from the Snow Is Glistening stamp set in Petal Pink on the front…

…and I embossed the envelope flap in the Tufted Dynamic TIEF.

Et Voila! Clean and simple really makes a statement with the Snowfall Thinlits taking center stage.  Don’t miss the Christmas Traditions Punch Box, either, y’all!  It’s one of the first things in the 2018 Holiday Catalog and might be easy to miss!  Hope you like!
