Before we went, I made this card to share with you today, using the new Beautiful Baubles stamp set and a few goodies from the Frosted Bouquet and Pretty Pines die sets. Take a look-see:
I borrowed the idea for the layout from The Paper Players challenge!
I started by adhering a piece of pretty Frosted Floral Specialty DSP to a Merry Merlot mat with Liquid Glue for the card front. Then I used a couple of Glue Dots to adhere a length of new Tranquil Tide 1/4″ Velvet Ribbon around on an angle – securing it in the back.
I pulled out some Joyous Noel 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper and cut some Merry Merlot berries with the adorable die in the Frosted Bouquet Framelits. I also cut some Tranquil Tide card stock pine boughs with the Pretty Pines Thinlits.
I adhered the boughs and berries to the card front in an oh-so-artistic way with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Whisper White, I stamped the Beautiful Baubles ornament in Merry Merlot and fussy cut it. Then I colored it with my Gray Granite, Tranquil Tide and Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Markers. I also “painted” the top and bottom section with my Champagne Shimmer Paint.
I popped the ornament on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a Galvanized Metallic Paper and Tranquil Tide Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper bow (cut with Pretty Pines Thinlits dies) to the top of the ornament with some Liquid Glue.
The sentiment is from the Festive Farmhouse Elements – I painted it with Champagne Mist and then Frost White Shimmer Paint and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I painted a single little star (in the Festive Farmhouse Elements) with Frost White Shimmer Paint and added it to the bow with Liquid Glue. A few more stars got some Merry Merlot with my Marker, and I added them to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I finished off with some Silver Metallic Pearls on the ornament and the card front and the card was done.
On the inside, I added a Beautiful Baubles sentiment in Granite Gray to a Whisper White panel. A Tranquil Tide bow and Merry Merlot stars finished it off.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Merry Merlot mat and then into my Gray Granite card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Beautiful Baubles bows and stars on the front…
…and a little of the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Beautiful Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide team up again – this time with the Beautiful Baubles stamp set and Frosted Floral DSP to create an elegant Christmas Card! Hoep you like!

So the Finn-ster is a boy.
