Stampin’ Up! Petal Pink Share What You Love for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! This is another installment of the Joint Blog Hop between the Happy Inkin’ Thursday and Happy Stampers Blog Hop ladies!  I hope you really enjoy all the inspiration you can get from our talented folks!

I used elements from the Share What You Love Suite – including the Love What You Do stamp set and the uber-gorgeous Share What You Love Specialty DSP.  Take a look-see:

For our challenge – as is always the case in these Combined Blog Hops – we had a sketch and a color challenge.  We could use either or both!

I definitely used the sketch – and got a little jiggy with the colors!

I started by matting a pretty piece of Share What You Love Specialty DSP on a Coastal Cabana panel for the card front.  Then I added a second – Petal Pink – design, also matted on Coastal Cabana, with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Love What You Do sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a strip of Crumb Cake and snipped a banner into the left side.  Then I used my Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker to add some “stitches”.  I popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some embellishments to the end of the banner.  First are some loops of Copper Metallic Thread topped with a heart-shaped Corrugated Element.  Then there’s a Linen Thread double-loop Billie Moan bow – topped with a simple bow of Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Tea Room Ribbon Pack.  And that was it for the card front!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Love What You Do, along with the pretty flower image, in Tuxedo Black on a Whisper White panel.  I colored the flower using ink from the lid of my Blackberry Bliss ink pad and a Blender Pen.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Coastal Cabana mat and into my Blackberry Bliss card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another Love What You Do flower on the front…

…and a little more Share What You Love Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is one of the prettiest suites in the new catalog, I think – with the Love What You Do set providing wonderful sentiments and images and…the paper!  The Share What You Love Specialty DSP is simply spectacular.  I hope you like!
