Stampin’ Up! Color Your Seasons Thank You!

Morning, y’all!  I’d be bumming that it’s Monday – but…there’s two reasons I’m not bummed.  One – we worked all weekend so it’s mox nix.  And TWO….in one week we’ll be in Seattle!!  Whoo-hooo!!

If you’ve seen my video from last Friday – you know there’s a new bundle coming out for y’all in August – called the Blended Seasons bundle!  And it’s waaay awesome!  I know this because, as a demonstrator – I’ve already been given the chance to order it and it arrived a couple of days ago.  There are also new Watercolor Pencils!  I used both for my card today.  Take a look-see:

My layout was inspired by the Fab Friday sketch this week.

I started with a Soft Suede card base and embossed the front in the wondrous new Subtle Dynamic TIEF.  It looks just as good on the back side as it does on the front! 🙂

Next up, I stamped the gorgeous falling leaves image from the soon-to-be-available Blended Seasons stamp set twice in Soft Suede ink on a Crumb Cake panel.  I colored the leaves with the new Watercolor Pencils (also available in August) – in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green (yes, those are colors in the new set!).

I embossed the panel in the Subtle Dynamic Tief and matted it on Cajun Craze.

For the two banner pieces, I cut a Crumb Cake strip and a piece of Cajun Craze paper from the Nature’s Poem DSP (this is one of the awesome papers available as part of the Buy-3-Get-1-Free DSP Sale!) and cut their ends with the Banner Triple Punch. I embossed the Crumb Cake banner in the Subtle TIEF and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Then, I stuck the Nature’s Poem DSP banner right over the top.

I cut some leaves and flourishes using the soon-to-be-available Stitched Seasons Framelits dies in Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Mossy Meadow card stock, plus one from the Nature’s Poem DSP.  I adhered them ever-so-artistically around on the card front (knowing what was coming next!).

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the Blended Seasons set in Cajun Craze on Crumb Cake and cut it with the Stitched Seasons die.  I put some Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back and used them to wind a few Linen Thread loops, then I popped it onto the card front.

I embellished the sentiment with a Corrugated Elements heart, a True Gentleman Button, another Crushed Curry flourish from Stitched Seasons and a Linen Thread double-loop Billie Moan bow – all adhered with Glue Dots and Liquid Glue.  A Grapefruit Grove Faceted Dot finished off the card front.

On the inside, I added the Blended Seasons falling leaves again in Soft Suede on a Very Vanilla mat and colored them with the new Watercolor Pencils.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cajun Craze mat and into the Soft Suede card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more Blended Seasons leaves on the front…

…and a bit more of the Nature’s Poem DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Y’all are simply going to go crazy for this new Blended Seasons bundle!  I love the leaves and the three sizes of the beautiful stitched label die cut in the bundle!  Pairs up perfectly in this card with Nature’s Poem DSP.  Hope you like!
