Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Something Baby Bear

Happy Monday, y’all.  Stated with no small amount of sarcasm.  Its cold – it’s muddy – and it’s a work day.  A trifecta of awesomeness!  Bleh!

If you were able to join me last night for our Facebook Live video, thanks so much and I hope you enjoyed it!  If not and would like to see how to make a double-loop bow, some Stamparatus-ing, a little masking and sponging and the Black Ice technique….then here’s the sort-of-instant-but-totally-not replay on YouTube!

The card we worked on last night used the Sweet Little Something stamp set from the Occasions catalog, plus a sentiment from the Baby Bear set (Annual).  Take a look-see:

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week:

I started by matting a piece of the gold Bundle of Love Specialty DSP on a Powder Pink panel for the card front!

For the art panel, I used a piece of Very Vanilla card stock, also matted on Powder Pink.

Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the three-step image in the Sweet Little Something stamp set.  The first two steps I did in Soft Suede.  The final step is Crumb Cake!

Beneath the sweet bunn-ya, I stamped a wonderful little sentiment from the Baby Bear stamp set in Powder Pink.  Then I Fast Fuse’d the panel to the card front.

I used the Linen Thread double-loop Billie Moan bow – that I show how to make in the video – and adhered it with a Glue Dot.  I also colored a piece of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine with my Powder Pink ink pad, tied a small bow and added it with a Glue Dot as well.  And that was it for the card front!

On the inside, I repeated the double layer of Bundle of Love Specialty DSP and Very Vanilla, all matted on Powder Pink.  I used a sentiment from the Sweet Little Something set in Powder Pink.  And I added the little flower images from that set as well!

I Fast Fuse’d it all together and into my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

I added the little Sweet Little Something flowers in Powder Pink across the front of my Very Vanilla Medium Envelope…

…and I added more of the Bundle of Love Specialty DSP to the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Cute bunny – cute sentiment – cute bow!  Change the matting and ink colors and…you’ve got a card for a boy.  Or – make it yellow or green and you’ve got…surprise!  The photo-realistic bunny in Sweet Little Something and the bear in Baby Bear are especially wonderful, aren’t they?  Hope you like!
