Finn-Fan Fix

We had company last night – a friend of mine and his family who drove up to escape Irma.  They came to dinner and we all got to meet his wife and two lovely daughters.

Finn. Was.  In.  Heaven.  Check it.

Pretty sure the picture tells the whole story!

After dinner and this little love-fest, the girls asked if they could see my cards.  Duh – of course I said yes.

When I asked if they wanted to make a card…duh – of course they said yes!

So, while Finny stayed out with the adults, the young ladies and I went in and they each made my Spooky Cat silhouette card!

And a good time was had by all.

  1. That is so awesome about the girls making the card with you! AND that boy, Finn, how blessed was he to get all that attention. Of course, you know I wouldn’t miss tonight for the world but I might have to for Irma if she knocks out our power. I’ll give a big shout out if I’m able. In the meantime, keep creating those wonderful cards. I’m putting my DSP in the dishwasher racks!

    • It was fun – for me and for them and for Finn! Good night all the way around. I hope to see you tonight – mostly cuz then I’ll know you’re safe. Take the very best of care, Karen. 🙂

  2. Finn does look like he’s in heaven! So glad that your friends made it out safely and that that girls got to make a card. 🙂

Sounds like a nice time, even if the impetus kinda sucks…no pun intended.
Great card peek! Plaid…pine…Christmas. gotta love it!

    • Yep – it’s the Triple Crown of cards! We did have a good time – and I hope we get to do it again sometime without the other “stuff”! Thanks, Mom! 🙂

  4. Elisha

Well, I can’t wait to see the rest of your card! What a wonderful treat for Finn and you! I love it when the younger generation shows interest in crafting of any kind – so much better than screen time (she says as she types on her iPad) 😳 Have a great day!

    • LOL! Screen time has its place! Otherwise…no blog! 🙂 Thanks so much, Elisha! I’m thinking those two ladies need a Paper Pumpkin subscription! 🙂

  5. Looking forward to tonight. Finn certainly looks like he enjoyed your company. To get kids interested in anything not techie is a great thing! And what a great card for them to do.

Set my alarm for the Live event so hope to be there. Love the peek…and love the happiness on Finn’s face. Seventh heaven! And lovely that the girls made a card–perfect choice for them! TFS.
