Stampin’ Up! Delightful Daisy Delight Again. Yes. Again!

Hey y’all – it’s finally Friday!  Whoo-hoo!  I hope this is the weekend we get to see Guardians!  Keep your fingers crossed, okay?

So – I tried to tell myself that I was going to give y’all a break on the Daisy Delight bundle.  But then I didn’t.  I used the whole shootin’ match.  Take a look-see:

I played along with the My Favorite Things challenge on this one for the layout.

And I also took part in the Can You Case It color challenge.

I chose Dapper Denim, Powder Pink, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White.

I started out by SNAILing one of the prettiest papers in the Delightful Daisy DSP to a piece of Powder Pink card stock.  Then I wrapped a length of the new 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon in Powder Pink around the panel, securing it in the back with scotch tape.

I cut a Whisper White Stitched Shapes oval and a Powder Pink scallop oval – slightly bigger – and SNAILd them together and then to the card front.

The flowers are made with the large image in the Daisy Delight stamp set – I stamped 6 of them – and then punched them all out with the Daisy Punch.  Using Daffodil Delight ink, I added the two-step flower center to three of the flowers.  I stacked up two flowers, adhering them with Liquid Glue, then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the top and bottom flowers to the card front.  Over those, I popped the third flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

My sentiment, from Daisy Delight, is stamped in Dapper Denim on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  I snipped banner ends and added faux stitches with my Powder Pink Stampin’ Write Marker (avail 1 June).  Finally, I popped the sentiment over the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside, I added a second Daisy Delight sentiment in Dapper Denim and a couple of small flowers in Daffodil Delight on a Whisper White panel.

I SNAILd the panel to a Powder Pink mat and into my Daffodil Delight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Daffodil Delight flowers across the front…

…and more of the beautiful Delightful Daisy DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I know…I know.  You must be getting crazy tired of seeing these daisies.  But, y’all.  I just can’t help it!  I love this whole Delightful Daisy Suite and I know you’re going to, too!  Hope you like this one enough to forgive my repetitiveness! 😉

Finn-Fan Fix…

Thought you might like to see my prodigy at obedience class.

Look at that form.  The focus!

Yes – he’s focusing on the mini-milk bone in my hand, but…still!!

Great card! I love the Powder Pink with the navy and yellow – who knew?! My Daisy Delight is ordered – waiting patiently 😉 It looks like Finn was the star of the show once again😀

  2. Your card is just loverly. The repetition of your daisy posts far from crazy tired. As a matter of fact, pages 126 and 127 have a pink post tab, along with 24 other tabs 🙂 20 days from now that tab will be removed and replaced with a green tab…that’s how I’ve decided to mark my newly acquired sets! Finn is so handsome and well behaved. Thank God for Milk Bones! I am off to make cards at church. It should be a fun morning for me. This is Mr. P’s last day of radiation but the start of his down time until Monday. Then we start the uphill climb for two weeks…woo hoo! Have a great weekend and I do hope you get to see the Guardian.

    • LOL – I’m guessing your catalog looks a little “hairy”! PINK hair!! I love your marking plan! My best to you and Mr. P, Karen. Thanks so much! 🙂

Focus is good! And for you to focus on the daisy set is good too. I hope this one sticks around. Maybe it will make me forget that they are leaving behind the one I can never remember the name, you know, the flower on the note pads.
Your card is lovely. I would not have thought to put those four colors together, but it works, and your interpretation of the sketch is beautiful.

    • Ah yes – Special Reason and the Stylish Stems. I already miss it so much!! Thanks much, Julie – glad that you like this color combo! It’s one of my favorites! 🙂

  4. Kathleen VanDeVeere

    Another beautiful card!
We all need a focus. Whatever it takes to get through the obstacles.

  5. So pretty, I know this set is hard not to do almost everyday, especially with that wonderful paper! Love this, Mary!

  6. Elaine Almand

Keep them coming! I have that set on my wish list. Your cards are always beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Just beautiful Mary! Love the pink daisies and the pretty background. Cute picture of the puppy…ours looks just like that when the cheese drawer gets opened in the fridge. 😉

  8. Susan K

Day late again but had to say I love this and am not tired in the least of the daisies. Just pinning away for when we can order it! Thanks too for FFF.

    • Thanks, Susan! 1 June’s just around the corner! Of course, you could join right now and pick this for your starter kit! Just sayin’! 🙂
