Stampin’ Up! All Squared Away Birthday For the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Spring!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

Ever since the Savings Are in Bloom promotion came out and reminded me of the great bundles in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, I’ve been wanting to play with the All Squared Away bundle (which you can pick up all month for just $40 – a 20% savings!)!  And – since it’s got lots of flowers and flowers make me think of Spring…this seemed like a great time.  And – I amped up the flowers theme even more with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder!  (Yes, I DID use the word “flowers” 4 times in two sentences – sorry!)  Take a look-see:

The layout was inspired by the My Favorite Things sketch challenge!

The color palette for this one is from the Just Add Ink color challenge this week!

I started by embossing a Basic Black panel in the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and matting it on Daffodil Delight for the card front.

I used all four square dies in the Floral Squares Dies and cut them from Coastal Cabana cardstock.

I adhered the squares directly to the embossed card front with Liquid Glue.

Using more of the dies in the Floral Squares set, I cut out flowers in Daffodil Delight and Polished Pink cardstock.

Then I adhered them to their coordinating flowers on the squares.

  • Top left – both flowers are popped on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Top right – all the middle Daffodil Delight flower are adhered with Liquid Glue.  The final flower is popped on with a Black Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • Bottom left – large Daffodil Delight flower is popped on with a Black Stampin’ Dimensional.  Then the large Polished Pink and small Daffodil Delight flowers are adhered with Liquid Glue.
  • Bottom right – the large Daffodil Delight flower is popped on with a Black Stampin’ Dimensional and then the small Polished Pink flower with Liquid Glue.

I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the flower centers! 🙂

I stamped the All Squared Away sentiment in Polished Pink on a piece of Basic White and adhered it to a Coastal Cabana mat, then popped it onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies on each flower square – and a large one on the sentiment and the card front was done!

For the inside, I stamped one of the square images from All Squared Away in Daffodil Delight on a Basic White panel.  Then I stamped a second sentiment in the middle in Polished Pink.  With my Polished Pink Stampin’ Write Marker, I added some faux stitches – then I stuck in another Brushed Brass Butterfly.  Cuz I love ’em! 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Daffodil Delight mat and into my Coastal Cabana card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got another Daffodil Delight stamped square, a Polished Pink sentiment (hey – why not let your recipient know right away that it’s ALL about them?!?) and more of the faux stitches on the front…

…and a little Coastal Cabana Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is a bit of a fly-over bundle but…I love it!  The simple shapes in the Floral Squares stamp set – coupled with the stamped squares and good sentiments in the bundled All Squared Away stamp set really make this a fun set!!  I’m also loving the quiet tone-on-tone (but still floral-themed!) embossing from the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder!

I hope you like!
