Stampin’ Up! Seriously the Best Ornate Layers for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s a sketch challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I wanted to make a card to send over to Stamp-N-Storage for their Bee A Blessing Card Drive – so I needed a not-too-sappy/lovey sentiment – but one that still said what I wanted to say.  Enter…Seriously the Best!  Now this is a stamp set that coordinates with the Seriously the Best Project Kit.  I didn’t use the kit for this card – instead, I called on Ornate Layers and some… Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch – I laid it down on its side.

I started with some Terracotta Tile paper from the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP that I matted on Mint Macaron for the card front.

Next up is a Mint Macaron die cut frame – from the Ornate Layers Die set.  I adhered that directly to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the big sentiment from Seriously the Best in Mint Macaron on Whisper White.  Then I cut it with a Rectangle Stitched Die.  On each corner, in Mossy Meadow, I added the leaves image from Seriously the Best.

I popped the sentiment panel over the Ornate Layers die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a small bow with the Terracotta Tile ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it in the corner with a Glue Dot.

I added a few Gilded Gems and the clean-and-simple card front was done!

On the inside, I added the perfectly-perfect second sentiment from Seriously the Best in Mint Macaron on Whisper White.  In the corners, I added the leaves in Mossy Meadow.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mint Macaron mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another Mossy Meadow leaves image on the front…

…and more of the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  SUUUUUper quick and easy to make multiples of right quick – think…Stamparatus!  The Seriously the Best set is pretty awesome – multiple sentiments and a couple of simple images…

…and, while I didn’t use it for this card, the set coordinates with the fun Seriously the Best Project Kit – which I am totally going to pull out SOON!

I hope you like – and will add the Seriously the Best stamp set (and Project Kit!) to your stash!
