Stampin’ UP! Simply Beautifully Celebrated Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

Our color palette led me right to the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP – so…it made sense in my head to ALSO use the Beautifully Celebrated and Simply Beautiful bundles – all in the same suite in the Jan-Apr 2026 Mini Catalog.  I used them to make a pretty card to send to a friend.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s that color challenge!

I did a quick video on how to make this card –  which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!

I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP to the front of my Petal Pink card base.

Using the next-to-largest die in the Simply Beautiful die set, I cut out a Basic White panel.  I stamped the little texture stamp from the Simply Beautiful set a few times in Peach Pie ink and then adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Then it was time to cut out flowers and leaves and berries using the Beautifully Celebrated dies!

– Using the large petal dies – there are two of them – I cut out one of each from the light side of some Fresh Freesia Two-Toned Cardstock and two of each from the dark side – to give me four petals.

– I cut out a Darling Duckling flower center using the larger of the two dies in the set.

– I cut out two solid leaves from Old Olive cardstock.

– I cut out two “leaf veins” from Old Olive paper in the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP.

– I cut out three berry branches from Calypso Coral cardstock.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the “leaf veins” to the solid die cut leaves.  Then I used Liquid Glue to assemble the flower.  I stacked the four petals – alternating the light and dark petals – and adhered them together with Liquid Glue.

Then I added the Darling Duckling flower center with a little Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue right in the middle of the flower and adhered it to the card front.  Then I tucked the leaves and berry branches in and around the flower – securing them with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Simply Beautiful sentiment in Calypso Coral ink. Using scissors, I cut out the sentiment.  Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card front.  Note: there’s a double-stack on the right side of the sentiment!

I added some Pearlized Faceted Circles and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a Simply Beautiful sentiment in Calypso Coral ink on a Basic White panel.  Then I stamped the Simply Beautiful texture image over it a couple times in Peach Pie ink.  In the corner, I stamped the Beautifully Celebrated branch in Calypso Coral ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Petal Pink card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Calypso Coral Beautifully Celebrated branch on the front…

…and more of the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love the flower-building and foliage dies in the Beautifully Celebrated bundle – and the images in the stamp set work along with them perfectly.  Add the coordinating Simply Beautiful bundle to expand the “menu” of occasions for your pretty cards!  They work perfectly together AND with their suite-mate: the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP!
