Good morning and happy Sunday! Hope your weekend is going well. We had a good time at the birthday party yesterday – and it was fun seeing everyone in one place!
My card today is a fun fold – it’s got a cool pop-up element thanks to the Pop-Up Petals die set. The rest of the prettiness comes from the wunnermus Lovely Blossoms DSP – and the coordinating Lovely Arrangements bundle. Take a look-see:
I started by adhering a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Lovely Blossoms DSP to a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Cloud Cover cardstock and then onto my 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Secret Sea cardstock.
On the back, I stamped a Lovely Arrangements sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a Basic White panel. In two diagonal corners, I stamped the leaves image from the set twice in Old Olive ink – without re-inking between the stamps. I adhered the panel to the back of the card base with Liquid Glue.
For the fun fold card base – I scored a 3 1/2″ x 9 5/8″ piece of Old Olive cardstock at 3 3/4″ and 7 3/8″ and folded both score lines in.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a 2 1/8″ x 3 3/8″ piece of Lovely Blossoms DSP to both sides of the smaller panels (a Secret Sea piece for the inside and the same design I’d used on the large card base on the outside) on the Old Olive card base.
For the front of the fun fold card, I matted a 3 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ piece of Lovely Arrangements DSP on a 3 3/8″ x 3 5/8″ piece of Cloud Cover cardstock.
Using the grid-looking die in the Lovely Arrangements die set, I cut out a Cloud Cover shape. With a Paper Trimmer, I cut the die cut down – slicing the circles in half on four sides.
I adhered the die cut to the little card front I’d just made with Liquid Glue. Note: the front of the fun fold card is CLOSE to being a square – but…not exactly. The card front goes on with the shorter side up – so…just be sure you decorated it accordingly. Watch the video linked below if you want to know why I made a point of telling you this!! 😎
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Lovely Arrangements leaf in Old Olive and the smaller flower in Secret Sea, cut them out with the dies in the set and colored the flower with the Light Petal Pink and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends
I layered them onto the little card front with Liquid Glue. Then I tied a small Linen Thread bow and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
I stamped the Lovely Arrangements sentiment in Secret Sea on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I cut it out with the Lovely Arrangements label die and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added some Secret Sea Moody Palette Glossy Dots and adhered the card front to the front of the fun fold card base.
The pop-up panel on the inside is a 3 3/8″ x 7 1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock, scored at 3 5/8″. I set the larger pop-up die from the Pop-Up Petals die set in place – with the little “points” on the die lined up with the score line – and ran it thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine.
On the shorter side of the panel, I stamped the Lovely Arrangements sentiment in Secret Sea ink. In two corners, I stamped the leaves image from the set twice in Old Olive ink – without re-inking between the stamps.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the white panel to the inside of the Old Olive card base – making sure that the score line is right over the first score line of the Old Olive card base.
To make the inside floral – I used a die from the Pop-Up Petals die set to cut out a vase from some Old Olive Lovely Blossoms DSP. I stamped two Lovely Arrangements flowers – a large and a small – in Secret Sea ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut them out with their coordinating dies. Then I colored them with the Light Petal Pink and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Finally – I cut out two two-leaf leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock and three one-leaf leaves from Old Olive.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the flowers and leaf die cuts to the die cut vase.
Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the vase to the vertical part of the pop-up element.
With Liquid Glue, I adhered the fun fold to the card front – making sure that none of the elements extended past the edges of the LARGE card base – and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Old Olives Lovely Arrangements leaves on the front…
…and more of the Lovely Blossoms DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I think we’ve already established that the Online Exclusive Lovely Arrangements bundle and gorgeous Lovely Blossoms DSP are a couple of my favorite things in our line-up! Note: they’re SO popular that they’re backordered right now – but should be back in just a couple of weeks! The Pop-Up Petals bundle – with sentiments and images and TWO pop-up element dies! – is pretty perfect, too! Those dies make pop-up elements easy peasy!! 🙂
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
Yeah – the kids were pretty cute yesterday.
Birthday-Boy Bowen enjoying a contemplative moment in the “sofa hole”.
Young cousin Jack ALSO enjoyed the hole – it was VERY popular!
Cake time was kind of hit or miss – Bowen wasn’t a huge fan of the cake itself – but the little bull-dozers on it WERE a hit!
Katelyn got some semi-expert help cutting and plating.
After cake – the bouncy house and sand….box?…were a good outlet for some excess energy.

And Bowen graciously gave rides in his 4-wheel drive dump-truck – not a new gift – even letting his older cousin do the “driving”!
It’s also pretty fun sitting in the back!
We headed home right after the presents were opened – he got his first pair of “real” boots – which worked well with the large number of trucks he got (he’s going to be a Truck-Guy for certain!).
Addy and Finn quite ready to go out AND to eat! We’d taken Addy’s food with us in a little tupperware and put the water right as we left – so it was already “cooked” when we got home! No, of course they don’t “run the show”!
That’s silly! 😉
