Stampin’ Up! Linked Together Sneak Peek Card with Video Tutorial

Good morning, y’all – hope your weekend is going well!  And that you’re ready enough for Christmas that you can chillax for the next few days!

Last night I made a fun card using the new Linked Together bundle – it’s coming to you on 7 Jan 2025 in the new Mini Catalog!  It’s a great bundle – with a stamp set, dies AND a set of Decorative Masks!  I put them all together to make a card for…any day!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.

I started by doing a little masking and Blending.  I placed my Lost Lagoon panel on my work surface – securing it in place with a little temporary adhesive.

I positioned my first Linked Together mask – mask #4 – and, using a Small Blending Brush – added Pretty Peacock ink all over the panel.

I replaced that mask with the lattice mask – mask #1 – but I offset the design (you can see what I mean in the video!).  Without re-inking my Small Blending Brush, I added more ink to the panel.

To finish off my design, I positioned the final mask – mask #5 – and then used a Small Blending Brush and Whisper White Ink to add the little dots.  Then I removed the mask and set the panel aside to dry.

I used the die in the Linked Together set to cut out one full diamond and one partial diamond from Lost Lagoon cardstock.  I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the full diamond in half.

I inked the Linked Together sentiment with Versamark, stamped it on the partial diamond, sprinkled it with white Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.

When the card front was dry, I wrapped a length of Fresh Freesia 3/8″ Seam Binding Ribbon (a FREE goody – with a $60 purchase – during the Jan-Feb 2025 Sale-A-Bration) around the panel, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.  Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic White mat.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere one of the half-diamonds to the card front.  Then I added the second half with Stampin’ Dimensionals – offsetting it to create a layered look.

I adhered the sentiment diamond with Stampin’ Dimensionals – offsetting it yet again and aligning the left side with the left side of the card front.

I used the Linked Together dies to cut out five Basic White and five Peach Pie flowers, and four Pretty Peacock leaves (2 large and 2 small).  I tucked the leaves under the popped-up diamonds, securing them with Liquid Glue.

I stacked the flowers up, adhering them together with Liquid Glue – then adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some beautiful Two-Tone Sparkle Gems (a new Online Exclusive – available on 7 Jan!) – to the flower centers and one by the sentiment – and the card front was done!

For the inside, I used two of my Linked Together Decorative Masks to add some Pretty Peacock ink across the bottom of a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Lost Lagoon card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Linked Together diamonds and some dots in Pretty Peacock on the front!

Et Voila!  The Linked Together Decorative Masks add a TON of fun texture with just some ink and Blending!  Then when you add a pretty sentiment, some geometric shapes AND pretty posies from the bundled stamps and die set – you’ve got yourself a card!
