Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I don’t know if y’all have seen the fun Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Specialty DSP or the new Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack? I used both of them to make a pretty Christmas card for you today! Take a look-see:
And – can you guess our theme?! LOL
This one is easy peasy so…buckle up!
I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of polka-dot Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Specialty DSP on a Peaceful Pine mat for the card front.
While I had the DSP out, I popped out a few poinsettia die cuts (two of the sheets in the pack are die cuts!). Then I pulled out the Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and selected some fun die cuts to use for my collage.
The Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack die cuts are all stickers so…I used their adhesive to adhere a plaid Peaceful Pine circle, a pine bough and a striped banner to the card front.
Using Stampin’ Dimensionals – I adhered two Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Specialty DSP poinsettias.
Then I tied a little bow from two lengths of Linen Thread and adhered it with a dab of Liquid Glue.
I adhered the Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Note: guess I needed to do a better job straightening my photos – that sentiment is NOT crooked like it looks on the card! 🤦♀️
I added some clear Adhesive-backed Snowflakes and the card front was done!
On the inside, I adhered a sentiment sticker from the Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I adhered another Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack sticker poinsettia. I let it hang off the edge a bit and trimmed the excess with my Detail Scissors.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got another Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack poinsettia (sticker) on the front…
…and more of the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Specialty DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Well – I am really loving all our new Ephemera Packs – we’ve got FOUR of them in the Sep-Dec 2026 Catalog! Two of them are “Fall/holiday flavored” and two are Christmas flavored! Those two – including the one I used here – the Season of Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack are perfectly coordinated (designs AND colors!) with the very pretty and fun Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Specialty DSP! Hardest part? Deciding which die cuts and papers to use – there are so many to choose from! You can make Christmas cards for days!! 🙂
