Stampin’ UP! Sentimental Garden Greetings Hot Foil Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

So – y’all MIGHT have heard that we’ve got a fun new thing going LIVE tomorrow!  It’s our new Stampin’ Hot Foil System – whoo-hoo!  I figured I’d best get on the stick and figure out how to use it .  The timing was good so…I made a card with it for you today!

I actually used sort of a bunch of new hot foil products on this one – go big or go home, huh!?  The new Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die was the start of the show – with a sentiment from the new Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies set atop a foiled label from the new Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies.  Take a look-see:

And – can you guess our theme?!

Nailed it! 😉

I started by using the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System and the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Die to foil the dark side of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Early Espresso Two-Tone Cardstock with Light Pink Stampin’ Hot Foil.

I adhered the panel to the front of my Early Espresso card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the system again to foil the next-to-largest label from the new Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies in Light Pink Stampin’ Hot Foil on the dark side of a piece of Barely Blush Two-Tone Cardstock.  That die set ALSO has cutting dies, so I used the coordinating die to cut out the label.

I adhered the label to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I plugged the plate in one more time to foil a Happy Birthday sentiment from the new Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies in Light Pink Stampin’ Hot Foil on a piece of White Willow Cardstock. And then I cut it out with the coordinating cutting die in the set.

Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a loop-d-loop of Barely Blush 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon on the back of the sentiment.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the label on the card front.

Finally, I added some Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the large floral from the new Sweetly Sentimental stamp set (this is part of a Hot Foil bundle – available tomorrow!) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the corner of a White Willow panel.  I stamped the flower fill images (there are a few) in Barely Blush ink and the leaf images in stamped-off-once Peaceful Pine ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Early Espresso card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sweetly Sentimental floral on the front.

…and again on the envelope flap – but…I forgot to take a photo of that! 🤦‍♀️

Et Voila!  Okay – I DID use a lot of different products on this card but… I love how it turned out!  And – I just MIGHT be hooked on Hot Foiling!  I mean – if you enjoy the magic of Heat Embossing – then…the Stampin’ Hot Foil System is going to make you VERY happy!  We’ve got a really nice selection of foiling dies – like the Garden Silhouette and Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies – plus bundles that have stamp sets with them – like Sweetly Sentimental and Flourish & Frames!  Which means the possibilities are…endless!!  And – I’ve discovered this system is SUPER simple and…will share a card with you this afternoon on my YouTube live that will show YOU how easy and fun it is! 🙂

NEW JOINING PROCESS

As part of our new, more streamlined and easy, join process, all first-time demonstrators will receive a surprise Welcome Box—a gesture of appreciation and a warm welcome into the global Stampin’ Up! creative community! I’m going to keep the insides a secret but…there’s some fun goodies to help welcome you to the team!

How the New Process Works

Step 1: Join

New demonstrators will:

  1. choose a team leader.
  2. accept required agreements.
  3. enter a few personal details.
  4. pay the $100 join fee.
  5. click submit.

Step 2: Shop

Once their information has been reviewed and approved (usually very quickly), their Welcome Box ships, and the new demonstrator receives an email with:

  • their demonstrator ID.
  • a coupon code to begin shopping.

About the Coupon Code

  • Valued at $125.
  • Coupon code can be applied to any demonstrator order.
  • Order CAN exceed the coupon code value (I got asked all the time if new folks could go over $125 for their Starter Kit and I hated having to say “no”!).
  • Got a list LONGER than $125?  Easy peasy! Any amount above the coupon code value:
    • receives the demonstrator discount.
    • counts toward the quarterly sales minimum.
    • earns Stampin’ Rewards if it meets the qualifying purchase amount (as long as you’ve opted into the Stampin’ Rewards program).

Additional perk for new demonstrators

  • New demonstrators may add eight free catalogs to any order!
Let me know if you have any questions about the new joining process.  This is a great new process – I love that you’re now going to be able to go over that $125 amount AND that it will automatically count toward your sales!  You can see more information about the perks of being a Demonstrator and a part of our team right here.
