Happy Monday, y’all! Hope you had a great weekend! We had pretty weather for all of it and Wayne got a lot done outside!
Today’s card is a simple one featuring the Scalloped Blooms and Boutique Blossoms stamp sets – plus…a little of the coordinating Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP. It all sets the stage for a few leaves and butterflies from the new Floral Flight Accents! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

I started by embossing a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Hydrangea Hue cardstock in the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut it down to the finished size of 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhered it to a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Basic Black cardstock for the card front.
I cut 10 – 1″ x 1″ squares of Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front. Then I added three 1″ x 1″ squares of Hydrangea Hue cardstock.
I selected three pretty leaves from the new Floral Flight Accents – and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a 5/8″ x 2 1/2″ strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Scalloped Blooms sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Then I snipped a banner into the right end with my scissors.
Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a loop-d-loop of Peaceful Pine 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon.
Then I adhered the sentiment to the card front with double-stacked Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I picked a couple of small butterflies from the Floral Flight Accents and popped them out of the sheet without removing the inner pieces of the die cut (so they appear solid). Using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered them to the card front.
I added some Peaceful Pine 2026-2028 In Color Dots and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Scalloped Blooms sentiment inTuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I added a leaf from Boutique Blossoms in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamping the fill image in Peaceful Pine.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel inside my Peaceful Pine card base, popped the card front on with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Boutique Blossoms leaf on the front…
…and more of the Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! This is a fun card front layout that…I likely wouldn’t have come up with on my own! But it’s perfect with this pretty Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP – and that Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing just gives it a little tone-on-tone sumpin’ sumpin’ extra! Don’t forget the Boutique Blossoms and Scalloped Blooms stamp sets – they’re just right with the pretty paper. And I love the new Floral Flight Accents – a whole sheet of black die cuts – leaves and hearts and flowers and butterflies! – all ready to pop out and use on your projects!
