Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
I took the colors from today’s challenge as an opportunity to pull out one of my favorite new stamp sets from the Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog – it’s the Happy Place stamp set and…it makes me think of Maui every time I see it! I paired it with Peaceful Garden DSP to make a super pretty birthday card. Take a look-see:

This one has the added benefit of being totally suitable for sending to the men in your life, too! Oh – and it’s easy! Boom!
I started by adhering a piece of Peaceful Garden DSP to a Pecan Pie mat for the card front.
On a piece of Basic Beige Peaceful Garden DSP, I stamped the big sentiment from Happy Place in Secret Sea ink. Underneath it, I stamped “birthday” in Pecan Pie ink.
I matted the panel on Pecan Pie cardstock and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I added three Secret Sea 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls and…uhm….the card front was done! Told ya! 😎
On the inside, in the corner of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Basic Beige Peaceful Garden DSP, I stamped the leaf image from the Peaceful Days stamp set in Secret Sea ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Cloud Cover card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Peaceful Days leaf in Secret Sea ink on the front…
…and more of the Peaceful Garden DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Super quick, super easy and super pretty! I love love love this card!! The Peaceful Garden DSP was a great start – the colors and muted leaves worked well, I thought, with the tropically-themed Happy Place stamp. Which will be one of my faves forever! I just love it – and hope you do, too! 🙂
