Stampin’ Up! Toile Amber Autumn Trees Sneak Peek Thank You Card

Happy Monday Morning, y’all!  Here we are in the last week of August – believe it or don’t!  Any day now I expect to see the leaves turning – and the pony poofing out her winter coat!  Which she will for SURE regret – cuz it’s still pretty danged hot!

But – thinking about Fall…I’ve got a sneak peek at the new Autumn Trees dies along with the coordinating Amber Autumn stamp set and Autumn Toile DSP!  It’s all coming on 3 Sept in the new Sep-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog.  Take a look-see:

The layout was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

I did a quick video on how to make this pretty card, which is posted on Instagram.  If you’d like to give that a watch – click here!

I started by adhering four panels from the new Autumn Toile DSP (coming on 3 Sept) onto a Timid Tiger mat using Liquid Glue to make the card front.

I used the two dies in the Autumn Trees Die set – one cuts the outline of the tree and the other embosses and cuts leaves – to cut out a Pecan Pie tree, which I adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the detailed leaves die in the set, I cut out Crushed Curry and Timid Tiger leaves.  I snipped each die cut into two pieces.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the four leaves pieces to the tree.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the Amber Autumn sentiment (coming 3 Sept) in Pecan Pie ink.  I used the small die in the Perennial Postage die set (available right now) to cut out the sentiment.

I tied a simple bow from two lengths of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

Then I adhered the sentiment over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some new Cajun Craze & Gold Dots (new in the Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment and the pumpkin image from Amber Autumn in Pecan Pie ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I colored the pumpkins with Light & Dark Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends, the leaves with the Light Old Olive Blend, the gourd with the Light & Dark Daffodil Delight Blends, corn with the Light Darling Duckling Blend and the stems with the Dark Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Crushed Curry card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Amber Autumn pumpkins on the front…

…and more Autumn Toile DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  If you’re ready for changing leaves – the Autumn Trees die set will get you all hooked up!  The coordinating Amber Autumn stamp set brings pretty sentiments and autumn images.  And the Autumn Toile DSP gets it all kicked off with Fall-themed toile prints! Get it ALL on 3 Sept – as part of the Autumn Toile Suite in the new Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog!

I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix

Each morning, when Cady goes out – the Water & Grass Inspectors do their duty.

First – Finn checks the quality and temperature of the water in the trough.

Simultaneously, Addy checks the height of the grass, to ensure that the pony will not be hungry thru the day.

Then – and only then – Cady can begin her day.

Okay.  It’s not EVERY day.  More like…every once in a while.  Like…spot inspections! 😉
