Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
The card I made for you today showcases the fun versatility of our Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack. I used to think these packs were ONLY good for scrapbooking! Boy, was I wrong! Take a look-see:
And – here’s our color palette we worked with this week!
This one is quick and easy!
I started by embossing a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock in the new Modern Herringbone 3D Embossing Folder. Then I popped the panel onto the front of my Pecan Pie card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I selected two designs from the Reindeer Memories & More Card Pack and matted both of them on Pool Party cardstock using Liquid Glue.
I adhered the “vertical” panel with Liquid Glue and the horizontal panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
It all looked a little…empty…to me so…I perused the included stickers in the Reindeer Memories & More Card Pack!
I picked a couple of presents and a double-peppermint-stick sticker – and stuck them in the bottom left corner – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I was having so much fun with the stickers that…I kept it going! I added a couple of Reindeer Memories & More Card Pack gifts and a holly sprig in the bottom corner of a Basic White panel. I added a large holly sprig in the top left corner – trimming the excess with my Paper Snips.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Pecan Pie card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got a couple more stickers from the Reindeer Memories & More Card Pack on the front…
…and I adhered another panel (one of the 4″ x 6″ panels) on the envelope flap and trimmed it with Paper Snips!
Et Voila! No inky fingers! LOTS of panels and stickers to choose from! The Reindeer Memories & More Card Pack is a PERFECT choice for making all sorts of fun Christmas cards this year! And the new Modern Herringbone 3D Embossing Folder is…the bomb!!
