Stampin’ UP! Plaid Market Goodness Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I saw in our sketch a chance to show off some cool DSP that I’d been eyeballing – the To Market DSP – and the layout also meant I could play around with the coordinating Market Goodness bundle.  I used it to make a fun thank you card.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s that sketch!

I started with some fun plaid To Market DSP in Garden Green and I matted it on Peach Pie for the card front.  Then I matted some woodgrain paper from the pack on Peach Pie and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Next – it was time to get busy with the fun Market Goodness Dies to cut out a Whole Food’s worth of produce.  And some very cool Blackberry Bliss string grocery bags. 🙂

Here’s what we’ve got “in the bag” – these are all cut from the To Market DSP with Market Goodness dies:

– A beautiful head of lettuce

– Two carrots – WITH tops (a pony fave!)

– A couple of bunches of ripe, red tomatoes!

–  A couple of beets.  In my head, I am THAT creative that I could make something scrumptious with all these things! 😎

I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut a couple of big, ripe bell peppers AND a giant bouquet of flowers – also from the To Market DSP.  Cuz I feel strongly that if I was shopping with those cool string bags AND buying all that fresh produce – I would ALSO be setting out a crock with flowers in it.

It’s my dream – let me have it, okay!?

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the produce and the bags to the card front.  When you do it – just take your time, layering everything – you’re looking for that feeling of abbondanza!! 😉

With everything perfectly layered – I worked on the sentiment.

On a strip of another piece of the To Market DSP, I stamped the Market Goodness sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.  I used Paper Snips to cut a banner in the right end of the strip.

I cut a second strip of DSP – and added a banner end to it as well.  I adhered the sentiment strip to this one with Liquid Glue (sort of like a mat).

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a simple Linen Thread bow to the card front.  Then I added the “matted” sentiment over the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I added some Blackberry Bliss Transparent Adhesive-backed Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Market Goodness sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White panel.  Next to it, I stamped some ripe tomatoes.  This is a two-step image – and I stamped the tomatoes in Real Red and the stem/leaves in Garden Green.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Peach Pie mat and then into my Blackberry Bliss card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the two-step tomato bunch on the front…

…and more of that pretty plaid To Market DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  I love love love this pretty To Market DSP – and couldn’t you see this plaid – and prolly a few other of the designs on your Christmas projects, too!?  Market Goodness makes me think of…shopping in Italy! 🤷‍♀️  So fun to create stamped veggies AND be able to use the dies to cut them from the To Market DSP!
