Stampin’ Up! Frames & Flowers You Are Beautiful Card

Happy Happy Hawwmmp Day, y’all!  Today is spa day for the pony – well, just a mani/pedi – but…she likes any attention she gets. Especially if it includes a peppermint! 🙂

My card today is so so easy to make – thanks to the amazing Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP.  Have you seen this pretty paper?  It’s not only got gorgeous designs of full size papers – it ALSO has stunningly pretty die cuts – frames, flowers and foliage, oh my!!  And – I added a perfect couple of sentiments – and some stamped foliage! – from the wunnermus You Are Beautiful stamp set.  Take a look-see:

This one is super easy so…buckle up!

I started by adhering a piece of Frames & Flowers DSP to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base using Liquid Glue.

Next, on a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the big sentiment from You Are Beautiful in Pretty Peacock.  I just love that sentiment!

I adhered the sentiment to the front of the card base using Liquid Glue.

Then I dove into the three sheets of die cut frames, flowers and foliage in the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP.

I adhered one of the frames…

…to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then – from the other two “specialty” pages…

…I selected some pretty flowers and sprigs.

I adhered the sprigs and a couple of flowers to the card front in the corner of the frame using Liquid Glue.

I tied a bow from two lengths of Flirty Flamingo twine and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.

Over the top, I added a third flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the other corner, I adhered a small Paper Butterfly Accent with a little Liquid Glue.

I added some Petal Pink gems from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Gold Foiled Gems and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second pretty You Are Beautiful sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a Basic White panel.  In the corner I stamped the You Are Beautiful leaves in Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Lost Lagoon card and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the You Are Beautiful petals on the front…

…and more Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The three sheets of die cut Frames & Flowers in this specialty DSP pack are…gorgeous!  I love the soft colors – and the foliage is beautiful!  And – the You Are Beautiful stamp set (the $1M stamp set from Margaret Van Vliet) is truly wonderful – with a perfect mix of foliage and lovely sentiments.

I may or may not have dived into a few meals almost EXACTLY like this while on vacation.

I mean – who DOESN’T love a good pan of lasagna?!?

He’s quite the foodie!

Such a pretty card! The frames in that paper pack are amazing and I love the butterfly! We may have eaten a few plates of food like that…but it was mostly gelato that we went all in on. 😉

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – we DID go head-first into quite a few cups and cones of gelato! Ready to go back!? Thanks, Amy! 🙂

Licking the plate? Doesn’t that mean I’d like a refill? Love that guy! Also love your card! Thanks for the inspiration. This paper is truly fun as well as beautiful. Thanks for sharing your creativity Mary.
