Stampin’ Up! Easter Lilies God is Good Easter Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

With the speed with which the days and weeks are passing, it’ll be Easter before we know it.  So…I made my first Easter card of the 2024 season – using the aptly named new Easter Lilies stamp set and bundled dies! A little Softly Stippled DSP – free for one more month! – gets the celebration started.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our sketch!

I started with a piece of Calypso Coral paper from the Softly Stippled DSP – this is FREE paper, with a $50 (before shipping & tax) purchase during Sale-A-Bration!  Yeah for pretty – FREE! – papers!

Using the frond image from the Easter Lilies set, I stamped all over the panel in Calypso Coral, creating a tone-on-tone look.  Then I adhered the panel to a Daffodil Delight mat using Liquid Glue.

Using the 5th-from-smallest Deckled Circles die, I cut out a Pebbled Path design from Softly Stippled and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

For the lily – I used the three petal dies, the two leaves dies (two of each) and the stamen die to cut out Basic White pieces.

I used the Light Bubble Bath, Light Fresh Freesia and Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends to color the petals.

I used the Light and Dark Old Olive Blends for the leaves and the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends for the stamen.

I lightly curled the petals and leaves and then used Liquid Glue to assemble the flower.  I used the Glue to adhere the leaves to the card front – then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the flower.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Easter Lilies sentiment in Pebbled Path ink.  Using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker, I added faux stitches to the sentiment – then adhered it with Dimensionals.

I added some Iridescent Foil Gems and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Easter Lilies sentiment in Pebbled Path on a Basic White panel.  Over the top, in stamped-off-TWICE Calypso Coral – I added that pretty frond.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Daffodil Delight mat and into my Pebbled Path card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Easter Lilies frond in Calypso Coral ink on the front…

…and more of the Softly Stippled DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh my – how gorgeous is the Easter Lilies stamp set?  And the bundled dies are…amazing!  I love how beautifully – and realistically! – the die cut and color-blended lily came together.  Stunning!  Softly Stippled – is simply gorgeous DSP – the colors and designs are amazing.  And – it’s free.  So…there’s THAT!
