Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a fun sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
My card today gives you a look at a Special Release from the Jan – May 2024 Mini Catalog – the Heartfelt Hexagon punch bundle! I paired it up with another Online Exclusive – the gorgeous Delightful Floral DSP (which coordinates perfectly with the Translucent Florals stamp set in the CURRENT mini catalog)! Take a look-see!

I also played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge this week! I went down the middle column!
I started by adhering a piece of the pretty new Delightful Floral DSP (available while supplies last in the Online Exclusive section of the Online Store!) on a Calypso Coral mat for the card front.
I cut out a Vellum cardstock Deckled Rectangle and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal.
Next up – and using another Deckled Rectangle Die – I cut out a piece of Fresh Freesia paper from the Delightful Floral DSP. Y’all – this is just the prettiest paper!
I cut the Deckled Rectangle die into two pieces and used Liquid Glue to adhere the two pieces to the card front – with a gap in between. Note: this is a great way to make a die cut look longer than it really is! 🙂
I used a new Deckled Circle die to cut out a pretty flower-strewn piece of the DSP and adhered it with Liquid Glue – covering that gap!
For the sentiment, I stamped one of the Heartfelt Hexagon frames in Versamark ink on one of the Pretty Peacock papers in Delightful Floral. Then I sprinkled it with white Basics Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.
When the powder had cooled off, I stamped the Heartfelt Hexagon sentiment in Versamark inside the frame. I sprinkled THAT with the white embossing powder and heat set that, too.
When it was cool – I used the very handy bundled punch to cut it out! This is a really cool bundle, guys – I love all the different sentiments/occasions you can choose from! Yeah yeah – bad grammar…. 🤷♀️
I popped the sentiment in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals, added some white Adhesive-backed Sequin Gems and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a Translucent Florals sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a Basic White panel. Over the top, in Parakeeet Party ink, I stamped a Translucent Florals sprig image. Then I added another of the Adhesive-backed Sequin Gems.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Calypso Coral mat and into my Pretty Peacock card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Translucent Florals sprig on the front…
…and more of the Delightful Floral DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh my gosh, y’all! I LOVE this new Delightful Floral DSP – the colors are so soft and pretty and the floral designs are gorgeous – do you see the Translucent Florals flowers strewn all about on the paper?! And the Heartfelt Hexagon set – I really love the sentiments – so many occasions are covered – and the cool punch! Who doesn’t love a punch bundle?? And THAT is one that you’ll see in the next Mini catalog coming out in January (so you can get it EARLY!!).
