Stampin’ Up! Botanical Layers Fresh as a Daisy for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a great color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I took a swing thru my stamp shelves and hit upon a set that I really like – but that I’d sort of forgotten to use for a while – it’s called Botanical Layers and it’s a carryover from previous catalogs!  I paired this pretty set with some Fresh as a Daisy DSP and the Radiating Stitches die set.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our color palette!  I used all but Wild Wheat! 🙂

I started by using the largest Radiating Stitches die (an Online Exclusive product expected back in stock the week of 15 May!) to cut out a Pebbled Path piece from the Fresh as a Daisy DSP.  I popped it onto the front of the Moody Mauve card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the next biggest Radiating Stitches die to cut out a Moody Mauve paper from the pack.

In the corner, I stamped the Botanical Layers floral image in Pebbled Path ink.  I popped the stamped panel in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Botanical Layers sentiment in Boho Blue ink.  Then I cut it out with the Stylish Shapes label die.

Using the same Stylish Shapes die, I cut a piece of Fresh as a Daisy DSP in Copper Clay (this is THE most versatile DSP, isn’t it?!).  I adhered this die cut with a little Liquid Glue.

I popped the sentiment over the first label with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a 2023-2025 In Color Dot in Copper Clay.  And..that was it!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment in Boho Blue on a Basic White panel.  In the corner I stamped the Botanical Layers floral in Pebbled Path.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the panel to a Moody Mauve mat and then to a Pebbled Path mat – and then into the Moody Mauve card base – and the card was done.  I love the double-mat, don’t you??

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Botanical Layers floral in Pebbled Path on the front…

…and I stamped more of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP with the Botanical Layers image and added it to the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Once again, I managed to forget an older set – the Botanical Layers set – in my zeal to use NEW STUFF!!  Don’t be like me, y’all – pull the Botanical Layers set out – or GET it if it’s not on your shelf already! I hope you’ve already got the Radiating Stitches in hand – but if you do not, it’ll be back soon!  And – Fresh as a Daisy DSP.  Is there no END to its wunnermus-ness?!  I don’t think so!
