Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisy You Made My Day with Video Tutorial

Good Friday, y’all.  I know it’s not “Good Friday” but I hope it WILL be a good Friday for all of you!  Miss Sonya IS coming today, so confidence is high for us!  I think we’re going to go do a test drive on a new van today – wasn’t really thinking of a new car but…needs must, you know?  Hoping we won’t be doing it in the rain!

For my card today, I went back to the gorgeous new Fresh as a Daisy DSP – and the Cheerful Daisies bundle that coordinates SO perfectly with it! This paper shows off our new 2023-2025 In Colors and some new Core Colors – and how WELL they go together! – to a T!!  Take a look-see:

The inspiration for this card was the CASE The Designer challenge over at the Global Design Project this week:

I started with a gorgeous Boho Blue-centric design of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP that I matted on Copper Clay cardstock for the card front.  Thank you, Stampin’ Up!, for giving us the courage to pair Bojo Blue and Copper Clay.  Cuz…I never would have done it myself and…it’s AWESOME!!

Then, using Stampin’ Seal – I adhered two lengths of Boho Blue 3/8″ Textured Ribbon to the card front.

I used the Cheerful Daisies die set to cut out two of the….twigs?…die cuts from Copper Clay and two from Wild Wheat cardstock.

Using Liquid Glue – I adhered one of each color to the card front.

I cut three Crushed Curry solid flowers and three of the coordinating detailed die cuts from Basic White.  I adhered the white pieces to the Crushed Curry flowers using Liquid Glue.

I also cut out two small and one large Cheerful Daisies flower centers from Copper Clay cardstock.  I adhered the small centers to the smaller flowers with Liquid Glue and popped the large center on with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

I popped the large flower on with Stampin’ Dimensionals (that I clustered near the middle of the flower so that I could tuck other elements underneath).

I stamped the sentiment from Cheerful Daisies in Azure Afternoon on a piece of Basic White and cut it with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes set.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment to the large flower.

I tucked the medium flower underneath – along with the other two die cut twigs – and then added the final flower with a Dimensional.

I added some Boho Blue 2023-2025 In Color Dots and a couple of Brushed Butterflies and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Cheerful Daisies sentiment in Azure Afternoon on a Basic White panel.  Then I stamped my fave little flower a few times in Crushed Curry and Copper Clay!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Copper Clay mat and into my Azure Afternoon card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Cheerful Daisies on the front…

…and more of the Fresh as a Daisy DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh my – I do love this Fresh as a Daisy DSP so much – I think I need to exercise my Demonstrator bennie again and get another pack!  One pack just isn’t going to be enough!  And – I’ve barely even scratched the surface of the awesomeness of the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and bundled die set – so… I’m looking forward to making more projects with it!  Thank goodness it’s going to be around for a whole YEAR!!

I hope you like!

If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products (at least the ones currently available!) and card cuts you’ll need are down below! And – this is the card that I made on my YouTube live yesterday – so if you’d like to see it – for the first time or AGAIN! – here ’tis!
