Stampin’ Up! Crafting with You Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a great sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

Now – we’ve had some fun crafty-themed stamp sets in the past, but…there’s a new BUNDLE (with DIES!!) coming soon in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog!  It’s called Crafting with You and it is SOO cool!  I used it – and some new Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP – on today’s card.  Take a look-see:

I also selected some elements for my card from the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this week! I went down the left side (basket – Designer Paper – Flowers) and across the bottom (Flowers – Ribbon/Twine – Free).

I started by adhering a piece of Lemon Lime Twist paper from the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP (coming on 2 May in the new catalog)…

… to a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock for the card front.  I matted a strip of a second design on Misty Moonlight and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the next-to-largest Scalloped Contours Dies, I cut out a Basic White rectangle.  In the corner, I stamped the sentiment from Crafting with You in Misty Moonlight.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut to the card front.

Then – time to make some craft tools!  Here’s a look that’ll help you know what I used – and what cuts what!

And here’s what I cut and assembled using the Crafting with You dies:

– A Lemon Lime Twist Paper Trimmer.

– A Misty Moonlight Scoring Blade (it could be a cutting blade!)

– A piece of Countryside Inn DSP – that I slid inside the die cut trimmer and adhered with a little Liquid Glue.

– I adhered the blade to the top of the trimmer with a dab of Liquid Glue.

– I stamped the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine in Boho Blue (it just seemed right!) on a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it out with the die in the Crafting with You Die set.

– I cut out the scissors from Misty Moonlight and used Liquid Glue to adhere the two pieces together.

– A Misty Moonlight craft ruler.

– A Misty Moonlight basket.

– Six Basic White “spools”.

– Two each Berry Burst, Bubble Bath and Lemon Lime Twist “twine” die cuts.

– I used Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut “twine” to the die cut “spools”.

– I cut Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Bubble Bath hearts, stars, and buttons.

I adhered the ruler and scissors to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Then I used Glue Dots to adhere a loop-de-do of Lemon Lime Twist ribbon from the new Ribbon Duo Combo Pack.

I popped the completed Trimmer over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tucked the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine under the trimmer, adhering it with Liquid Glue.

Then I popped the basket onto the card front with a few Dimensionals – that I kept at the bottom of the basket (so I could tuck fun things inside!).

I tucked those fun die cuts into the basket – adhering them with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere two die cut hearts next to the sentiment – and the card front was done!

For the inside, I stamped a second Crafting with You sentiment in Misty Moonlight. Then I stamped the little heart in Bubble Bath and Berry Burst.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and into my Lemon Lime Twist card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done! 🙂

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the little Crafting with You hearts in Bubble Bath and Berry Burst on the front…

…and more of the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Aren’t those die cuts from the Crafting with You bundle…AMAZEBALLS?!?  My goodness!  I thought it was cute and THEN I realized you can slide DSP “INTO” the die cut trimmer!  Mind.  Blown!! And the cutting machine and trimmer?!?  SOOOOO fun!  And…could it BE any more perfect for us card makers!?  I’m also loving the new Core colors and we’re seeing a LOT of them in the stunning Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP!!
