Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches Countryside Corner Sneak Peek Birthday Card

Good morning and happy happy HAWWWMP Day!!  Hope your week is going well!

I’ve got another sneak peek for you today – it’s the new Seasonal Branches bundle.  I ALSO used the new Countryside Corners die set AND the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder, too!  Take a look-see:

Stampin' Up! Seasonal Branches Countryside Corner Sneak Peek Birthday Card

I selected several elements for this card – bird, twine, Birthday sentiment and embossing folder – thanks to the Inspo List at the Festive Friday Challenge.

I started by cutting a piece of Calypso Coral with the largest Deckled Rectangle Dies.  Then I embossed the die cut in the new Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder.  Get this new folder on 2 May!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the embossed die cut onto the front of my Calypso Coral card base.

Next, I used the next-to-largest Countryside Corners dies (bundled with the Countryside Corners stamp set in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog)….

…to cut out a Basic White panel.  Using Blending Brushes, I added Azure Afternoon ink to the die cut – letting it be kind of splotchy and sky-y!

In the corner, I stamped a sentiment from Seasonal Branches in Garden Green ink and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the branch die from the Seasonal Branches die set to cut out two Pecan Pie branches – which I adhered with a little bit of Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the leaves image from Seasonal Branches twice in Granny Apple Green ink.  I inked the stamp with the Granny Apple Green ink and then added some Garden Green to the image with a Sponge Dauber.  I cut the leaves images with the coordinating die from Seasonal Branches.

I adhered the top leaves die cut with Liquid Glue and the bottom die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sweet bird in Basic Gray on Basic White and colored it with my Light Smoky Slate and Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends then cut it with the bird die in the Seasonal Branches set.

I tied a little bow from some Parakeet Party Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a Glue Dot.  Then I adhered my bird with a Dimensional.

I cut out some Bubble Bath flowers and Garden Green leaves – the dies cut the flowers and emboss “shading” marks on them at the same time!  I also stamped a few Bubble Bath flowers and cut them out as well.

I adhered the flowers with Liquid Glue or a Stampin’ Dimensional and the little die cut leaves with Liquid Glue.

Then I added some Lemon Lolly Adhesive-backed Solid Gems and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Pecan Pie branch and Granny Apple Green leaves on a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic White mat and then into the card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Seasonal Branches image on the front…

…and Bubble Bath flowers and Granny Apple Green leaves on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The Seasonal Branches set is so cool – I love how we’ll be able to use it all year – from Spring blossoms thru to winter’s bare branches.  And the little bird is adorable!  Countryside Corners Dies is going to be a go-to, I think – those dies are such a fun shape and in a great range of sizes!!  Yeah!!

Just a reminder that I am NOT going to be hosting a Designer Series Paper Share for this upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.  The timing of the catalog launch is really close to when we leave for the Stampin’ Up! The good news is that several of my team members are hosting shares! They all have slightly different options so take a peek at all of them and pick the one that works the best for you!

Please reach out to them directly if you have questions or would like to join their shares!  If you’re not already following their blogs, this might be a good time to do that so that you get all the updates as they happen!  Just sayin’! 😎

Tara Carpenter – at Tarabeth Stamps – offering designer series paper, ribbon and embellishment shares
Carol Buckalew – at Inky Bee Stampers – offering designer series paper shares (details coming soon)
Terry Lynn Bright – at TL’s Bright Spot – offering designer series paper shares (details coming soon)

Any of them will do you right when you join one of their shares – so hopefully you’ll find one that is exactly what you’re looking for!
