Good morning on the cusp of another weekend! Can you even believe that February is almost over?! Like…there’s just 4 more days. Of course, that ALSO means just four more days for all the Shop-Host-Join goodness that goes along with Sale-A-Bration!! Yikes!! 😳😳
My card today harkens back to the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog – featuring the Speedy Recovery stamp set. The host-exclusive Flowers & More DSP pack – this from the Jan-Apr 2023 Mini – sets the stage for a sweet Get Well card. Take a look-see:
The Paper Players challenge was a theme this week and it was….
…so that’s where I started.
The sketch I used is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.
I selected two pieces of the Flowers & More DSP (this Host-exclusive goodie is available for hosts who have workshops or individual orders over $150 in sales!) and adhered them to a Pale Papaya mat for the card front.
Then I used some Stampin’ Seal to adhere a loop-d-loop of Fresh Freesia 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon.
Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the coffee cup from the Speedy Recovery stamp set in Pale Papaya ink.
Over the top of the cup, I stamped the Speedy Recovery sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.
I inked just the top of the vase image (the stems) in Crushed Curry and stamped it next to the cup. Then I cut it all out with the largest of the circle Stylish Shapes dies.
I stamped the vase again in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Blackberry Bliss design from Flowers & More and then fussy cut it. I adhered the vase under the stamped stems using Liquid Glue.
Finally – on a piece of Basic White, I stamped the tissue box image from Speedy Recovery in Fresh Freesia ink – and..yep…you guessed it…cut it out with Paper Snips!
I adhered the circle die cut over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added the fussy cut tissue box with more Dimensionals.
I added some Fresh Freesia gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds and the card front was done.
On the inside, I stamped a second Speedy Recovery sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on a Basic White panel. In the corner, I stamped the bouquet in Blackberry Bliss. Then I colored it with my Pale Papaya, Sweet Sorbet, Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers. I finished with a small Fresh Freesia 2021-2023 In Color Opal Round.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pale Papaya mat and into my Blackberry Bliss card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Speedy Recovery bouquet on the front…
…and some more of the Flowers & More DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I think the Flowers & More DSP I used is cheerful and fun – and just right for helping someone to feel better, don’t you?? And the Speedy Recovery set – which..you might have missed in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog – is one you really want to have in your stash for those times you need the perfect Get Well card!!
If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts are listed below! And – this is the card I made on my YouTube live yesterday! If you’d like to watch it – for the first time or again! – here ’tis!

Finn Fan Fix
I present – the most energy-conserving pooch ever.
When your dad sets the torn open chip bag down in front of your nose and you’re just too lazy – erhm….EFFICIENT! – to get up to lick it.
It takes a bit of effort – only the most delicate and dedicated dogs can do it – to lick a bag whilst remaining on your side.
It tends to want to move around until you plant your big hand on it!
But – success is measured by licking the entire paper – and never rolling up on your chest. Keeps you closer to the ground to resume your nap when you’re done, dontcha know!
Hmm. Actually, he might have already fallen back to sleep on that last shot! 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

OMG how cute is that!
Thank you, Janelle – I’m so glad you like it! 🙂
Such a sweet card! Love the colors and the design is perfect! Poor Finn…he’s like a little kid that’s so tired he falls asleep in his dinner. He’ll wake up with chip crumbs stuck all over the side of his face. 🙂
YES! Chip crumbs and velcro – they’re a tough combination! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Thank you for playing with us at The Paper Players, Mary! I’m sure your pretty card will be most welcome!
Xoxo, Fran
Thanks much, Fran – appreciate you stopping by!! 🙂
Love your card and all the elements. Question…is it cut out with circle or oval? It may be the photo angle.
Also, Finn really knows how to have fun without exerting any extra energy.
You must have worn him out.
It’s the largest Stylish Shapes circle for sure!! 🙂 Yes – we wore him out by making him get up in the morning! Thank you so much, Karen! 🙂
Conservation breeds retention…especially in the energy department. ;:
Yup! 🙂
