Stampin’ Up! CAS Watercolor Ginkgo Branch Thinking of You Card

Good morning and happy happy HAWWWMP DAY!  If you didn’t see my second post yesterday – well, then…you might not have made it over to the UPDATED Clearance Rack yet!  Be sure to check it out before the goodies that you might have been needing – and not even KNOWN you needed them! –  are gone!  Here’s a link!

My card today is a super clean and super simple card that could be a sympathy card, or an encouragement card, or…just a sweet card to send to a friend who needs to hear its message.  It features the Ginkgo Branch bundle and the Watercolor Shapes stamp set!  Take a look-see:

I saw this card as I was browsing thru Pinterest the other day – Jackie Bolhuis created it – and I fell in love with it!  So – I just had to make it for myself!  And – it’s super quick and easy so…buckle up, buttercups! 😎😎

I started by placing a Very Vanilla panel into my Stamparatus and stamping the circle shape from the Watercolor Shapes set (in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog) in Crumb Cake ink.  Then I matted the panel on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to make the card front.

Using one of the pretty dies in the Ginkgo Branch set, I cut one Old Olive and one Mossy Meadow leaf.  I used a little bit of Liquid Glue to adhere the two die cut leaves inside the stamped circle.

I tied a sort-of-double loop Linen Thread bow – it’s like a HALF a bow.  I wrapped the thread around my fingers TWO times (instead of FOUR) – but it’s created exactly the same as my usual Farrah Fawcett bow!  This I adhered to the card front with a Glue Dot!

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the Ginkgo Branch sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink.  Then I cut it with the label die from the Ginkgo Branch die set and popped it over the bow with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend, I colored three of the white Enamel Dot Essentials.  Then I  added them to the card front and it was done!

On the inside, I stamped one of the smaller Ginkgo Branch leaves in Mossy Meadow on a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I added a few of the Crumb Cake Enamel Dot Essentials.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Crumb Cake mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Ginkgo Branch leaf in Mossy Meadow on the front…

… and a little Crumb Cake Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I know it’s not my norm – although there IS a Farrah-bow, right!? – but…I LOVE this one!  I really think that you could use almost any sentiment for any occasion that you need using the Watercolor Shapes and Ginkgo Branch leaves, don’t you??
