Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy Country Floral Birthday for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a great sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

The sketch we worked with this week has one of my favorite elements – angled front panels!  I pulled out my Country Floral Lane DSP and Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder for my panels – and then added a big floral from the Beautifully Happy stamp set.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch!

I also played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge this week. I think I hit every square but the “love sentiment”.  Missed it by….THAT much! 😎🤷‍♀️

I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a piece of Petal Pink Country Floral Lane DSP to the front of a Petal Pink card base.

Using the Next-to-Largest Stitched Rectangle Die, I cut a Sweet Sorbet design from the DSP pack and adhered it at an angle with Liquid Glue.

I used the next smallest Stitched Rectangle Die (so – the third-from-largest die) to cut out a Basic White panel.

I embossed the panel in the uber-wunnermus Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

Using the grid die in the Chic Die set, I cut out a Vellum cardstock die cut.

I adhered it to the middle of the panel with little dabs of Liquid Glue.

I placed a piece of Basic White cardstock into my Stamparatus and used the Stamparatus to stamp the large floral from Beautifully Happy (this is a FREE goody you might select with a $100+ purchase during Sale-a-Bration!) in Basic Gray ink.

I pulled the panel from the Stamparatus and used the fill stamps in the set to add Petal Pink flowers, large Mint Macaron leaves and small Soft Succulent buds.

Then – and don’t be scared! – I used my Paper Snips to cut out the image! 😎😎😎

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the fussy cut image to the card front – right over the Chic Die cut Vellum grid.  The vellum die cut adds just a smidge more texture to the card, don’t you think!?

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the Beautifully Happy sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink.  Then I cut it out with the smallest Stitched Rectangle Die.

I used a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right end of the die cut and some Liquid Glue on the left end and adhered it to the card front.

I added some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done!

On the inside, I used my Stamparatus again to add the large floral image in stamped-off-once Basic Gray ink in the middle of my Basic White panel.  I added a second sentiment from Beautifully Happy in Sweet Sorbet, then added the dots image from the set a couple of times in Petal Pink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and into the Petal Pink card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Beautifully Happy floral in stamped-off-once Basic Gray and Petal Pink dots on the front…

…and more of the Country Floral Lane DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Beautifully Happy is SO pretty – I love the two-step flower images in the set and the pretty, and delicate, sentiments, too!  And it’s a bonus that you can get it for FREE! 🙂 The Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and the die from the Chic Dies add some sweet texture – and really let the pretty Country Floral Lane DSP really pop!
