Good morning and Happy Happy LAST HAWWWMP Day of 2022! Wowza! Can you even believe it??! Didn’t I JUST wish y’all a Happy 2022?? And here we are headed into 2023. 😳😳😳
Well – my last Wednesday card for 2022 is super simple – it’s an easy riff on the triple time technique. I got the idea from the Jan-Apr 2023 Mini Catalog sample for the Fragrant Flowers bundle – and the amazing, coordinating and FREE Favored Flowers DSP! Take a look-see:
This one is super quick, so…buckle up!
I started with the largest die in the widest stack of Stitched Rectangle Dies – and used it to cut out a rectangle from a pretty piece of the Favored Flowers DSP. I wrote that like maybe there’s an UN-pretty piece in this pack of Designer Series Paper. Spoiler – There is NOT…
And – it’s made even PRETTIER when you know that you can get it for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase!! YEAH!
Using the THIRD-from-largest die – I cut out the center of the first die cut. That left me with a frame and a smaller rectangle.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the frame to the front of my Thick Very Vanilla card base.
Then I used the Next-to-Largest Wider Die (the one in between the first two dies that I’d used) to cut out a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel over the DSP frame on the card front.
Then I used Liquid Glue again to adhere the remaining small rectangle of Favored Flowers DSP over the Very Vanilla panel – making sure I lined the original design back up!
I used the detailed leaves die from the Fragrant Flowers die set to cut four Soft Succulent leaves from a piece of new Fine Shimmer 12″ x 12″ Paper (available on 5 Jan in the Jan – Apr 2023 Mini Catalog) and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the smaller floral image from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set twice in Evening Evergreen and cut them both out with the matching die from the Fragrant Flowers die set. Interesting tidbit: the Fragrant Flowers set is one of the new sets that are available in EITHER Cling OR Photopolymer! So – you can pick which style YOU prefer! Whooo-hooo!!

I adhered these both with Liquid Glue to the card front.
Interesting tidbit: the Favored Flowers DSP was designed to coordinate with the Fragrant Flowers bundle – and there are beautiful images in the paper that can be cut right out with the dies in the Fragrant Flowers die set. One of my FAVORITE things! 🙂
Using Stampin’ Seal, I adhered a doubled length of Petal Pink 3/8″ Soft Polyester Ribbon over the top of the flowers and leaves.
On another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from Fragrant Flowers in Calypso Coral ink and cut it out with the die from the Fragrant Flowers die set. Then I popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 😉
I added some Calypso Coral gems from the new Iridescent Pastel Gems (also new in the Jan-Apr 2023 Mini Catalog) and the card front was done!
On the inside, I simply stamped the small Fragrant Flowers image in Evening Evergreen on a Very Vanilla panel.
I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Calypso Coral mat and into my Thick Very Vanilla card base and the card was done!
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Fragrant Flowers image on the front in Evening Evergreen…
…and more of that pretty Favored Flowers DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I am already loving this Fragrant Flowers bundle, aren’t you? I opted to get it in Photopolymer – but you can get it in Cling, too, if that’s better for you!
