Stampin’ Up! Jingle Jingle Jingle Sneak Peek for the New Catalog Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Tuesday – and I’m excited to be taking part in the Second Edition of the New Catalog Blog Hop!  This one is ALL about the Jul – Dec 2022 Mini Catalog!  All us hoppers picked a new stamp set or bundle from the catalog – going live on 1 Jul! – and made a card using that product.  So…you’ll see a lot of great ideas today and get some inspiration (and…maybe a NEW goodie to put on your Shopping List!) 😎  I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I thought it would be fun to play with the new Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set – a super simple little set with lots of fun sentiments and cheery Christmas images.  And – as I got to looking, the new Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ DSP caught my eye, so I used that as well!  Take a look-see:

I started by adhering a piece of the festive Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ DSP to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Liquid Glue.  Y’all – this paper is SO pretty!!

For the sentiment, I used a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the outline “Believe” sentiment in Evening Evergreen.  I used the fill image in Soft Succulent – I love these two colors together, especially for Christmas! 🙂

I added the traditional red element – using Cherry Cobbler – by adding the second part of the sentiment (love that scripty font) below the first word.  I think the three sentiment pairings are really fun – and there are plenty of little “additions” you can use to decorate your project!

In the corner, in Evening Evergreen ink, I added a string of lights – filling the bulbs in with my Light Soft Succulent and Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.

I matted the panel on Cherry Cobbler and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On another piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped the outline of the Santa hat from Jingle Jingle Jingle in Evening Evergreen.  I used my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend to color the hat and then fussy cut it with my Paper Snips.

We’ve got a cool new product – called Pearlized Enamel Effects – that I used to color the “fur” band and pom-pom on the hat – using the white Enamel.

When the enamel was dry, I popped the hat next to the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some gold pearls from the new Festive Pearls (get these on 1 July in the new catalog!) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added the Jingle Jingle Jingle light string a few times in Evening Evergreen, coloring the bulbs with the Light Soft Succulent and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.  I even added a few more gold Festive Pearls!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Evening Evergreen card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more Christmas lights on the front…

…and more of the pretty Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I know – Jingle Jingle Jingle is another one you missed, right??  I get it – I almost did, too!  But…I’m glad I took a second look – cuz…the two step sentiments are really fun!  And I am in love with the pretty color combos in the Lights Aglow DSP, aren’t you??  I can’t wait for you to get it ALL for yourself on Friday!!

I hope you like!
