Stampin’ Up! Wisteria Wishes Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw our sketch – I saw the new Wisteria Wishes bundle with it’s gorgeous die cut flowers (I LOVE wisteria!!) – which you’ll be able to pick up on 3 May.  So out it came and I set it atop another beautiful design from the new Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ DSP.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our sketch.

I borrowed the color palette from the Color Throwdown challenge.

I started with a pretty plaid paper in Starry Sky (one of our new In Colors – and available on 3 May!) from the new Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ DSP and adhered it to the front of a Starry Sky card base with Liquid Glue.

Next, I took a blank piece of vellum from the new Lovely Layers Vellum (coming on 3 May – these are pre-cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″ – and you’ll find 20 printed sheets and 40 blank) and embossed it in the new Fern 3D Embossing Folder (avail 3 May).

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the embossed vellum panel to the front of the card base.  Then I used Liquid Glue to adhere a cool Paper Lattice over the top (these are retiring so…get you a pack FAST!).

I used the leaves/bough die in the Wisteria Die set to cut two Soft Succulent boughs.

And I cut two detailed flowers from a piece of Tea Boutique DSP (in Fresh Freesia) and two of the less detailed flower dies in Blushing Bride.

Using small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals, I popped the detailed DSP flowers over the top of the Blushing Bride flowers.

I adhered the first bough (the one on the left side) with Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered the first flower with more Liquid Glue.

Next – I added the second bough and the second flower with Liquid Glue.

I tied a little bow from some gorgeous new Starry Sky 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon (y’all – this is SOO pretty – and you’ll be able to get it in ALL the new 2022-2024 In Colors!!) and adhered it with a Glue Dot – tucked in under the leaves.

Then, I stamped a sentiment from the Wisteria Wishes set in Starry Sky ink on a piece of Basic White – and cut it with the next-to-largest banner die in the new Stylish Shapes die set.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to tuck the sentiment up under the leaves and over top of the bow.  Then I added some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the Wisteria Wishes three-flower image in Blushing Bride on a Basic White panel.  Then I added the bough in Soft Succulent – lining up the “branches” with the flowers.  Finally, I stamped the flowers with the detailed image in Fresh Freesia.  I stamped a second sentiment over the flowers in Starry Sky ink.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blushing Bride mat and into the Starry Sky card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Wisteria Wishes stamped flowers on the front…

…and a little more Tea Boutique DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh.  My.  Goodness, y’all!  I am so in love with this set!  We have wisteria growing wild all over here in the south – it’s actually sort of considered to be a weed.  I mean…it’s EVERYWHERE!  And I just sit back and smile cuz it’s SOO pretty!  And the Wisteria Wishes – with the bundled Wisteria Dies – is perfect for making those gorgeous flowers for yourself!  I am also pretty enamored with the Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ DSP, aren’t you?!  What an amazing variety of designs to choose from!

I hope you like!
