Stampin’ Up! He’s the Man & All That Hoppy Sneak Peek

Happy happy Fri-YAY!!!  It’s the weekend again – whoo-hoo!

See? I’m RETIRED and I STILL get excited on Friday!  I think it’s ingrained in our DNA somehow! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I’ve got a sneak peek of a new suite in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog (available for ordering on 3 May 2022!) that I am predicting is going to be HUGE!!  It’s the He’s The Man Suite and it fills a void for all of us who have ever struggled to create a masculine card.  I KNOW it’s not just me!  Anchored by the wonderful He’s All That stamp set with its bundled All That Dies and the very handsome He’s The Man DSP (that includes TWO sheets of AMAZING die cuts!) – it’s going to solve a LOT of your card-making dilemmas.  Take a look-see:

I thought it fit pretty well with The Paper Players challenge this week – who doesn’t smile at a punny sentiment?!

I made this card yesterday on my Facebook Live – and if you were able to join me for it – I appreciate you spending part of your week with me!  If not, but you’d like to see how it’s put together, come check it out right here at the replay!

I started with some nice paper from the new He’s The Man DSP – this is a great set of paper, y’all!

Look at those colors!

I adhered the DSP to the front of my Crushed Curry card base, using Liquid Glue.

One of the coolest pieces of this DSP pack is the two full sheets of fun die cut shapes and sentiments!   I used one of them – it looks like a sheet of paper torn from a notebook – and adhered it in the corner with Liquid Glue.

Speaking of corners, I adhered two little die cuts that look like…corners…in the…corners!…with more Liquid Glue!

The All That dies are truly cool…

…and I used the two “argyle” looking dies to cut two pieces in Early Espresso – and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I cut the two curved banner die cuts in Crushed Curry and the straight banners in Soft Succulent.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the banners to the card front.  Check the video – I’ll give you a cool tip to make this part easier (and help you line everything up!).  Don’t you love how they look like there are two loooong banners – instead of the four short ones that are REALLY there??  This means that you’ll be able to make banners as long as you need! 😉

Next, I used the circle die in the All That die set to cut a piece of Cajun Craze paper from the He’s The Man DSP, then I adhered it over the banners with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The fun sentiment is another die cut from the sheet in the He’s The Man DSP (I TOLD you it’s awesome!) – and I just adhered it over the circle with Liquid Glue.

I added a few little stars with Liquid Glue (yep – ALSO part of the die cut sheet) and then stuck on a few of the new Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dot (part of this wonderful Suite and available on 3 May!).  And – that was all the card front needed!

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the He’s All That stamp set in Early Espresso on a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I stamped some corners – also in Early Espresso.  Finally, I added the No.1 image in Cajun Craze!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and into the Crushed Curry cardbase and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got a couple of Early Espresso corners and the No. 1 image in Cajun Craze on the front…

…and more of the He’s The Man DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Well – what do you think?  Are you loving this He’s The Man Suite already?  I sure am – and I hardly ever DO masculine cards!  But…this one is just too much fun.  The He’s All That set – and the amazing bundled All That Dies are uber-cool!  I’m also really liking the He’s The Man DSP – those colors and patterns are perfect for masculine cards – and the die cuts are fun (and they don’t have that darned white border like so many do – YEAH!!!).

I hope you like!

If you’d like to recreate this card, all the products and card cuts you’ll need are down below!

Finn Fan Fix

Finn??

Has anyone seen Finn?

Big dog?  Fluffy?  Pretty smart dude?

A little goofy, if I’m being completely honest here.

Oh – THERE he is!

An Aussie in the grass!
