Well – Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day!! What do you call a camel with no humps?
Humphree, of course! 😉
That joke has absolutely positively NOTHING to do with the project I’m sharing with you today!
Stampin’ Up! has some amazing kits and they recently released a brand new All-Inclusive Kit called the Love, Santa Tag Kit! And – it has matching treat bags, too. Cuz…tags and treat bags just go together like peanut butter and jelly!
I picked up a couple right away and they arrived over the weekend. So I pulled one of the kits out and put it together quick as a bunny.
No. Really – it went together really quickly and it is UBER cute!
The kit comes with EVERYthing you need to make twelve fun tags – and they are BIG!! Like…card-front-sized big! Which means they’re perfect for attaching to a filled Love, Santa Treat Bag!
I bought an extra kit (or two!) – so I decided to make THIS one into some quick and easy Christmas cards! I saw that my friend and awesome upline, Amy Koenders, had done that, so…it seemed like a good plan. She used a Basic Patterns Mask and Blending Brushes to stencil snowflakes all over her card bases. I wanted to show you a different way to achieve that look!
I picked two coordinating colors – Poppy Parade and Night of Navy – and pulled out the Merry Snowflakes stamp set.
I stuck the three snowflake stamps from the set onto a single acrylic block…
…and then stamped the snowflakes all over a piece of cardstock. Poppy Parade ink on Poppy Parade cardstock and Night of Navy ink on Night of Navy cardstock! I adhered each stamped card front to a same-color card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals
I popped each stamped card front onto a same-color card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I popped each tag onto the card fronts with more Dimensionals. I put some on straight – and some at a jaunty angle. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better so….what do you think? Straight or angled? 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I left the tag hangers in place and just tied them into a simple bow!
For the inner liners, I used the sentiment from Merry Snowflakes and stamped it in the coordinating color on a Basic White panel.
Then I added one of the leftover jewels from the Love, Santa Tag Kit and adhered the panels into the cards with Stampin’ Seal. Tip: the Tag Kit instruction sheet shows you how many jewels to use on each tag. I initially used that as a guide. Then…since I had leftovers, I added more of the jewels to the Christmas tree tag. If you do that – just be sure you leave 12 little ones to add to the inside of the cards! 😉
I stamped Basic White Medium Envelopes – you didn’t think I would NOT do envelopes did you?? – with the same Merry Snowflakes that I’d used on the card front. I did them in the coordinating color on the front…
…and on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Tags or cards? Heck – get TWO Love, Santa Tag Kits and do BOTH! They’re so easy and fun. AND – if you’re doing tags – you don’t need ANY other products – you’ll get a Night of Navy Ink Spot AND an acrylic block!! But don’t forget to pick up a pack of the coordinating Love, Santa Treat Bags!
The kit ALSO coordinates with Bumblebee, Just Jade, and Polished Pink in addition to the Night of Navy and Poppy Parade. So… you could do any color combo that strikes you!! 🙂
I hope you like!

Caption
“You looking at me? Turtle, what turtle? Can’t you just tell I’m chillin’ cause…duh…I’ve got my paws crossed”
Love your blog and Finn! “No mom, I GOTCHU.”
Finn is adorable! His comment:
“I’m trying to remain calm here Mom, but did you say you’re making Turtle Soup for dinner?”
Mr Turtle was walking in the grass looking for a new home. Of course Finn scooped him up and brought him home to mom
What? He’s green? Can’t be…he’s my bro!
“Don’t even try to take this away from me”
Is it time for turtle and I to go for a walk? Maybe It is Dinner time.
I am so adorable!!!
Seriously, it’s a turtle.
“Don’t even think about trying to sit here!” (Did I scare you? What, the turtle ruins the image?)😂
Thank you for offering us all such a sweet give away, Mary. Puppy Finn is seriously cute! And he has grown into an equally seriously cute – and handsome – grown up guy. Caption: Don’t even think about trying to take Mr. Turtle away from me. Happy Wednesday!

Happy Birthday Finn! This is my turtle and my chair not yours, now go back to your stamping!
“I’m ready to play mom.” Thanks for the chance to win.
Love all your projects you share with us. Thanks for a chance to win your blog candy. Love Finn, too!
Caption … “Just because I have my paws crossed and look cute, doesn’t mean I’m not serious when I say, ‘Don’t touch the turtle!’”
Happy Gotcha Day to Finn!
“Mom, more treats please??? I’ll share my turtle with you!!”
Thanks. You made my day!
“Turtle time…. loving my turtle friend!” chilling with Finn. Happy Anniversary. I like the images both ways, straight and at an angle.
Sorry mom. But Mr. Turtle 🐢 wanted me to hang on to him. Hope you understand!
Come on, Mom – would you hurry up and take the picture so I can play again! Geez . . . always having to entertain her . . .
“Don’t even think about it!” 🙂
“This is MY turtle! DO. NOT. TOUCH!”
Cute cards and tags. Lots of possibilities. Some I like straight, and some are better on an angle. Either is fine. Can it be 5 years? Wow!
Love this kit but love adorable Finn more!!!
Thank you! 🙂
Mary, I love this alternative idea for the tag set. I think this would be a fun project for my 9 year old granddaughter. Happy gotcha day to Finny! I know y’all will be celebrating on Saturday.
Caption: I must look cute like this. She’s taking my picture again! 🙂
“Mine, Mine, Mine”! Finn is such a handsome dog. Love the crossed paws!

“I am seriously turtlely awesome!!”
Don’t even think about touching my turtle!
I worked hard all day, now it’s Play Time with Mr. Turtle! It’s a dog’s life, and I love being a dog!
Togetherness and contentment…what more could a fellow ask for!
Something in my teeth? I don’t know what you are talking about…
Love these big tags as cards. Happy Gotcha Day to you and Finn. Those 5 years have gone by quickly!
“No, I’m not on the furniture. Mr. Turtle and I are just watching TV.”
(Still hospital sitting; finally catching up on blog posts while he sleeps.)
Cute Kit, Finn says: What Mom? No turtles in the kit what were they thinking, turtles are the best!
Happy Gotcha Day Finn!
“Seriously mom….who’s cuter? Me or the turtle?” Wink wink!
Simply adorable!
“I would smile for the camera, but my mouth is full.” ~ Finn
“Nothing going on here”.
“I’m handsome….I know it and I need a new squeaky toy….maybe two!!!
I do like my turtle. But wondering what I might have missed by being left behind when you went to Maui.
Finn is saying……”Go ahead try and take it! I dare ya!”
I wanted a treat and you give me a turtle!!
Love you mom….any chance Mr. Turtle and I can have a snack before dinner? Pretty please with extra kisses on top…..
