Stampin’ Up! In Sweet Symmetry Thank You Friend

Good Monday morning, y’all!  Hope you had a great weekend!  I had HUGE plans for yesterday – the weather was going to be iffy and sauna-ish so I thought…what a great day to get caught up!  Organize my craft room – pack up Retired Products – maybe get ahead on a few cards.  And then…

Sir Richard Branson went to space.  And down the rabbit hole I went! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️  I am now trying to figure out how to come up with a quarter mil for a 90 minute E-ticket ride to space and back!  Cuz I would SOOOO go!

Until I find all that extra coin (you know – that I don’t need for…just about ANYthing else!) – I guess I’ll keep making cards and sharing them with you!  Like – the one today, which is a clean-and-simple number from the In Symmetry Bundle – with a little help from Sweet Symmetry DSP and the Stitched Greenery Die.  Take a look-see:

And the quiet color scheme is from The Paper Players!

I started by matting a piece of Sweet Symmetry DSP on Misty Moonlight for the card front.

I cut a narrow-er strip of Basic White – ran it thru my Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the Stitched Greenery Die – and matted it on Misty Moonlight and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I stamped some flowers from the In Symmetry stamp set – the large in Bumble Bee and two smaller in Misty Moonlight – on Basic White.  Then I fussy cut them.

Using the bundled Symmetrical Stems Border Punch, I cut out some leaves from Just Jade cardstock.

I adhered the punched leaves to the card front with Liquid Glue – then added the Misty Moonlight flowers, also with Liquid Glue.  I popped the Bumble Bee flower over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On another piece of Basic White, I stamped the In Symmetry sentiment in Misty Moonlight, fussy cut it and popped it onto the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a few Bumble Bee gems from the 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems here and there and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second In Symmetry sentiment to a Basic White panel in Misty Moonlight.  Then I added the large flower in Bumble Bee and a few 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems in Just Jade.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and into my Bumble Bee card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the large In Symmetry flower in Bumble Bee on the front…

…and a little more of the Sweet Symmetry DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This is such a simple set – with the In Symmetry stamp set’s flowers and leaves and sentiments – and the handy Symmetrical Stems Border Punch to create leaves – or…you know…a BORDER!  And it plays so well with the Sweet Symmetry DSP and the totally unrelated Stitched Greenery Die, don’t you think?
