Good morning and happy Sunday! Hope this post finds you well and enjoying a relaxing weekend. Or…getting chores done! Whatever makes it a great weekend for YOU!
If you were able to join me yesterday evening for my Facebook Live video, I appreicate you spending part of your weekend with me! If not, but you’d like to see the replay – here ’tis on YouTube!
This card uses a new-to-me bundle – called Forever Grapevine! I used some of the so-pretty 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum and the tried-and-true Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. Take a look-see:
The card was inspired by this week’s Inspire. Create. inspiration photo challenge.
I started by using my Stamparatus to stamp the large grapevine image from Forever Grapevine in Early Espresso on a Crumb Cake panel.
I used my Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink Dark Stampin’ Blends to color the grape clusters on the image and my Light Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Blends to color the leaves. Then I embossed the panel in the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.
I used my Blending Brush to lightly color the corners with Pale Papaya ink (giving it a muted vintage-y look) and matted it on Pale Papaya for the card front.
Then I got busy cutting pieces and parts from the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum: the largest Grapevine die cut twice in Evening Evergreen; the individual leaves in Soft Succulent (I did two “groups” – one with the Shimmer side up and one with the non-shimmer side up – that yielded a bunch of slightly-different colored leaves!); and many “tendrils” in Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia.
I adhered one of the large Evening Evergreen die cuts with Glue Dots over top the stamped image. Then I added the leaves here and there – some shimmer-side-up and some…not – with more Glue Dots. Finally, I tucked the variously colored tendrils in and amongst the leaves with Liquid Glue.
The sentiment, from Forever Grapevine, is stamped in Evening Evergreen on Crumb Cake. Over the top, in stamped-off-once Soft Succulent, I added the small grapevine image from the Forever Grapevine set.
I adhered a couple lengths of Pale Papaya & White 1/2″ Woven Ribbon to the middle of the panel. Then I used a Glue Dot to adhere a SINGLE-loop Linen Thread bow.
I snipped off some pieces from my second large Grapevine die cut (in Evening Evergreen) and tucked it under the sentiment. I added some leaves with Glue Dots and “tendrils” with Liquid Glue.
Finally, I added a few Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and the card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped a second Forever Grapevine sentiment in Evening Evergreen on a Crumb Cake mat. In the corners I added the smaller grapevine image in stamped-off-once Soft Succulent. I used the Blending Brush in the corners with Pale Papapa ink and added a Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pale Papaya mat and into my Crumb Cake card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the small grapevine image in Soft Succulent on the front…
…and the envelope got a Brick & Mortar 3D Embossed piece of Very Vanilla cardstock – that I stamped with the grapevine image.
Et Voila! I love the way this Forever Grapevine bundle all works to create – in this case – a vintage-y, organic card – especially with the help of the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder lending a hand! I really like how the new 2021-2023 In Colors give pretty little unexpected pops of color. Gotta love those “tendrils”!
I hope you like!

Finn Fan Fix
Finn had a BIG day yesterday!
Farmer’s Market first – with LOTS of other dogs and their parents. Including one dog mom who – when I kept Finn away from other dogs – told me that was a bad idea at the Farmer’s Market cuz they need to learn to be social. Uhmmm….not on a leash with strange dogs, IMHO. Sure fire way to get in a dog tussle!
Finn got lots of pettings and ooohing and ahhhing. And exclamations over his handsomeness. Nothing less than he deserves, of course!
BUT – one dog had the temerity to be cute enough to cause Dad to pet it. 😳😳😳
EXCUUUUUUSE me – that is MY Dad! Finn growled a warning shot in no uncertain terms! Wayne heard it and I felt it in the leash.
With which, fortunately, I had him snugged up next to me (see the first paragraph)!
Next, we hit Tractor Supply to get a salt block for Cerah – more pettings – and a cookie at the checkout counter!!
THEN we went to Lowes.
When we got home – he…crashed!
Tired puppy!
But – he’s got his eye on the door and I know is hoping we need something from the Farmer’s Market NEXT weekend, too!

Sweet card! Love the colors and the layering is perfect. Poor Finn…it is a busy day sniffing so much stuff and getting so many pettings. 🙂
Yes – being the center-of-attention is always stressful! Thanks so much, Amy! 🙂
Well, can’t say enough about the gorgeousness of that card, Mary. It is definitely a “Mary collage” design!
As for Finn, we KNOW he can be sociable. We saw him in the pool with other doggies. He is RIGHT to let Wayne know he isn’t supposed to pet other doggies….the very idea!
Yep – he’s plenty social and doesn’t need any “training” to be nice, for sure. But…Dad was over the line, right??! 😉 Thanks very much, Faith! 🙂
