Stampin’ Up! You Are Amazing Butterfly for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with today and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I am really having too much fun with the new Butterfly Brilliance bundle and Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ DSP, y’all – and…so I used it again today.

Sorry.  Not sorry! 😉

This time, I paired it with the fun sentiment-only You Are Amazing stamp set.  Take a look-see:

And here’s the sketch we were all working with today!

The soft ice cream-y colors and banners really made me think of the TGIF Inspiration challenge.

I started with some butterfly-strewn paper from the Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ DSP that I matted on Blushing Bride for the card front.  Two more panels – also on Blushing Bride – came next – all adhered with Liquid Glue.

I adhered a Gold Hoop Embellishment to the card front with a couple of Glue Dots.

Using the large die in the Brilliant Wings die set, I cut the large (swallowtail!) solid butterfly from a piece of Vellum cardstock.

I used the coordinating detailed butterfly die to cut a So Saffron butterfly.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the So Saffron butterfly to the vellum butterfly and then I popped it in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the banner sentiment from You Are Amazing in Bermuda Bay – then I cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

I popped the sentiment in place over the butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, I added a few Champagne Rhinestones here and there and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped some small butterflies in Tuxedo Black on a piece of Basic White.  How?  Remember I told you I’d cut my Butterfly Brilliance stamp apart?

Well – THAT’S how!

I colored them with my Light So Saffron and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends and my Mint Macaron Combo.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blushing Bride panel and into my Bermuda Bay card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Butterfly Brilliance butterflies on the front…

…and more of the Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  You Are Amazing is chock-a-block full of celebratory sentiments – which is just what the sweet new Butterfly Brilliance bundle and Butterfly Bijou DSP need!!
