Good morning! Did you all have a good weekend? The weather here was…wunnermus! Window-open-t-shirt weather! We worked in the garden and made some great progress on the new beds. Hoping that strawberries and asparagus go in by mid-week. The seeds I started are going gangbusters – and I’ve got lavender started, too! Only fly in our ointment was that Sam’s didn’t have any more asparagus so….we’re stuck with the mixed-gender Mary Washingtons. We’ll just have to do some thinning when we identify the girls.
That wasn’t sexist – so…no one complain or cancel me. It just is what it is!
I’ve got a card today that I hope will get you even more excited about tomorrow’s release of the Butterfly Bouquet suite! The Butterfly Brilliance bundle – which will also be available in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is paired up with gorgeous Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ DSP (which will NOT be available after this promotion!). I paired them up with the Oval Occasions stamp set from the Jan – June 2021 Mini Catalog. Take a look-see:

And I played along with the rainbow connection over at FUSION this week!
I started with some new Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ DSP that I matted on Basic Black cardstock for the card front.
I matted another strip of the DSP on Basic Black and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I had some butterflies in my little bowl-of-goodies on my desk – cut from the Butterfly Bijou DSP using the big die in the Brilliant Wings Die (bundled with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set). So – I pulled out one big one in So Saffron and Mango Melody.
I adhered a Gold Hoop Embellishment to the card front with a couple of Glue Dots. Then I added a simple bow tied with two lengths of twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack.
I popped the butterfly onto the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals after lightly curling his wings with my fingers.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped a sentiment from Oval Occasions in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut it out with the Classic Label Punch.
I popped the sentiment onto the butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A Champagne Rhinestone on the sentiment finished off the card front!
On the inside, I stamped a second Oval Occasions sentiment in Tuxedo Black on a Basic White panel. Then I stamped a single butterfly from Butterfly Brilliance in Tuxedo Black. How did I do that when that’s one big gorgeous stamp? Well – I did exactly what I said I was going to do on my video last week!
Yep – I cut that bad boy apart so now I have 6 gorgeous butterflies! I’ll buy a second Butterfly Brilliance set to use with the big die cut in Brilliant Wings! Feel free to copy my idea (which I totally stole from a fellow demonstrator!)! 🙂
So – I colored my butterfly with the Dark So Saffron and Dark Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend and added a Champagne Rhinestone.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Basic Black mat and into my Mint Macaron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Butterfly Brilliance butterfly on the front…
…and I added some more of the Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Seriously – this Butterfly Bijou paper is SO stinkin’ pretty! And I love love love that I can cut butterflies right smack out of it with the paper with the big die in Brilliant Wings! And the Oval Occasions stamp set – even when you don’t need to use the bundled Double Oval Punch – is a handy source for sweet sentiments and images!
