Stampin’ Up! Gilded Gather Together for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving!!  Hope you’re getting ready to have a great day – and have your stretchy pants on! 😉

Being that it’s Thursday – it’s ALSO time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got a sketch challenge, today – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I decided to be a little obvious today – with a thankful theme with Fall elements.  Yep – I had to think LOOONG and hard for that one! 🙂  This revolutionary idea gave me free rein to pull out one of my favorite sets – the Gather Together stamp set and bundled Gathered Leaves dies.  A little Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP brought it all together!  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch challenge!

I also played along with the Tic-Tac-Toe challenge! I went across the top – across the bottom – across the diagonal – and…if “Early Espresso” is “coffee”….down the right column! 😉

It was an easy jump to the TGIF Challenge, too!

I started with a leaf-strewn piece of Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP that I matted on Early Espresso for the card front.

Using another – gold embossed (oh hey! – caught the last square – Yahtzee!!) piece of Mint Macaron Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP – I cut a panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  There wasn’t a die that was just the right size that I wanted, so…I chose a narrow one and then ran it thru the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine twice (adjusting the die) to make it a little longer.

I adhered the die cut to the card front with Liquid Glue.

With a Stitched Shapes Die, I cut a Very Vanilla square.  Then I used one of the new Blending Brushes (coming in the Jan – Jun 2021 Mini Catalog on 5 Jan 2021!) to blend on some Mint Macaron ink.

I stamped the Gather Together wheat image on the square in Early Espresso.  Then I added the sentiment in Cajun Craze.

I used a couple of Glue Dots to adhere a Gold Hoop Embellishment (the Glue Dots are at about the 7 o’clock position, under the die cut leaves).

Using the three cut-and-emboss leaf dies in Gathered Leaves, I cut three leaves from the three colors in the Brushed Metallic card stock.

I adhered the larger leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the final – smallest – leaf with Liquid Glue.

I tied a Linen Thread double-loop bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

To finish it off, I added some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I blended some Mint Macaron ink around the edges of a Very Vanilla panel using the Blending Brush.  I stamped a Gather Together sentiment in Cajun Craze and the wheat stalk in Early Espresso, then added the little splatter image in stamped-off-once Mint Macaron.  Finally, a single Gold Glitter Enamel Dot finished the panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and into my Cajun Craze card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got a little more Mint Macaron blending, an Early Espresso wheat stalk and some stamped-off-once Mint Macaron splatters on the front…

…and a little more Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love this set so much – the Gather Together stamp set with its pretty Fall sentiments and the stunning Gathered Leaves dies!  Aren’t they so gorgeous in Brushed Metallic card stock??

I hope you like!
