Well – we’re home and it’s Monday! What a weekend it was – from storm to gorgeous in just a few days. Thankfully, the gorgeous happened FOR the wedding! 🙂 Which was also gorgeous!
My card today is my version of one we did at our virtual OnStage event – the Stamp & Share Experience! We got all the card cuts ahead of time and were ready to stamp “together” with one of the SU! head office folks! As we worked, I sort of modified the basic card to be more my style. But, it’s pretty close – and is a great Sneak Peek at the new Dragonfly Gardens Suite. Take a look-see:
I started by stamping the image of the tiny dragonflies (there’s a bunch of them so….a swarm?) from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Bumble Bee ink up the side of a Whisper White panel. Then I matted it on Bumble Bee cardstock for the card front.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a piece of Misty Moonlight paper from the new Dandy Gardens 6″ x 6″ DSP across the card front.
Then I added two more – different! – patterns with Stampin’ Dimensionals – leaving a tiny gap between the two strips.
I stamped the Dragonfly Garden sentiment in Misty Moonlight at the bottom of the panel.
On a piece of Bumble Bee cardstock, I used the wings fill image from Dragonfly Garden to stamp a small piece of Bumble Bee cardstock twice in Bumble Bee ink – to make a “shadow”.
Using the Dragonflies Punch (which will be available as a bundle with Dragonfly Garden – saving you 10%!) – I punched one of the large dragonflies from a piece of the Dandy Garden DSP!
I popped that punched dragonfly over the “shadow” I’d made on the Bumble Bee card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I offset it a little to create a “ground” shadow effect! And the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped the “swarm” image up the side of my Whisper White panel in Bumble Bee ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Bumble Bee mat and into my Misty Moonlight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more swarming on the front…
…and a little more Dandy Garden DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Oh my goodness! How much do I love this Dragonfly Garden stamp set with the uber-cool Dragonflies Punch!?? Answer….a LOT!!

Online Host Club Openings – and a New Customer Bonus!
I’ve got openings in my Online Host Club starting on 1 Dec – and new little bonus for my Customers – which will ALSO be one of the new benefits of being in an Online Host Club! Whoo-hoo!
What is an Online Host Club? Glad you asked!
An Online Host Club lets you get some of the benefits of being a host – without doing any of the WORK of being a host! And – it helps you build your crafting tool chest a little at a time. While earning FREE goodies!
A club consists of three folks doing two consecutive three-month terms. Each person commits to buying $50 before shipping and tax each month.
Here’s how it shakes out…this is just an example! As you can see, each member gets to host TWICE during the six months!!
At the end of the club, I let each member select a stamp set up to $25 that I send to them for free.
What are the other bennies of a Host Club?
- At least a $150.00 Workshop order during EACH of your host months!
- Which means you’ll have at least $15.00 of Stampin’ Rewards dollars to spend on the exclusive Host Stamp Sets, or any other current Stampin’ Up! product during your host months. Stampin’ Rewards are Stampin’ Up!-speak for “free money”!
- You’ll earn DOUBLE PEPPERMINTS on your Host Club Orders. Each $50 order earns 4 reward points, a $75 order earns you 6 reward points, etc. You’ll earn at least 24 reward points during your membership, meaning you’ll automatically earn at least ONE $40 Peppermint rewards gift! (Remember – when you gather up 16 Peppermints, you get to select a free reward gift valued up to $40!). You can get more info about my Punkin’ Heads Customer Rewards Program right here.
- You’ll receive a FREE monthly tutorial with 4-5 projects and access to all previous tutorials for the duration of the club. Right now, there are over FIFTY tutorials available only to Online Host Club members. That’s around TWO HUNDRED FIFTY not-seen-on-our-blogs projects for you to use as inspiration (and they ALL have all the card cuts and instructions!)
- Access to my Weekly Zoom The Craftroom online Zoom Party – where you can come craft and chat with me and other customers! YEP – THIS IS NEW!!
- FREE catalogs during your membership term
- FREE shipping in your TWO Host Months
- A FREE STAMP SET of your choice valued up to $25 at the end of each “term”, any current set (excluding host sets)!
- At the end of the full 6 months, you’ll get first dibs at signing up for the next 6 month term!
When you join the club – you’ll commit to the full six months – in two consecutive three-month increments. This is a great time to join a club – with the pending release of the 2021 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog and SALE-A-BRATION fixin’ to start in January, too!
Don’t delay – there are limited spaces available!
If you want to join us or if you have ANY questions about how it would work…please drop me a note at stamps-n-lingers@comcast.net!
Now – the new Customer Bonus!
So – I’m setting up a “ZOOM The Craftroom” time with me every week! Every Wednesday, I’ll be in my craft room doing…something!… and you can pop in and we’ll craft together and chat or…whatever! Very casual – no makeup required (I for sure won’t have any on!). It’s a great time to ask questions or get help with problems or issues you’re having! Or…we can just work on our projects together and yak.
Like the Ordering Gifts – you’ll receive the Zoom meeting link when you place an order of $50 or greater (before shipping and tax)! There’ll be a new link every month. All you do is download Zoom and then you can click on the link at the start of the Office Hours and you’ll be in! No account needed. 🙂

The many moods of Pawley’s Island! 😉
Thursday evening…
Saturday morning! Dawning bright and beautiful for the wedding! Yes – my dream of sleeping in was rudely interrupted by my pea-pickin’ internal body clock. Grrrr. 🙁
And – the crowning moment!
I could get pretty used to this as the consolation prize each day for getting up so stinkin’ early! 😉

Pretty card! Love the mix of designer papers and that dragonfly! Pretty pictures from the wedding morning too, glad that it wasn’t scheduled for the day that you arrived. Yikes!! 🙂
You kidding! THAT would have been bad for sure! Thank you so much, Amy! 🙂
I love your version of the card and your choice of papers. Very pretty. I love this set.
Glad Thursday’s weather moved on out and it was pretty for the wedding. Great pics.
Yes – it was totally gorgeous on the big day!! 🙂 Thank you so much, Susan! 🙂
Geez, where did you stay?? That would be a lovely place to spend a little down-time!! Glad that it cleared for the wedding & that you all had a good time. Love the dragonfly!! I have seen a few sneak peeks & it looks like a lot of flowers!! I am not a flower person…..wish they would do more sentiments. But, am looking forward to the new mini catalogue.
Hey Karen – we rented a house right on the water on Pawley’s Island and it was wonderful. I WILL someday live where the waves put me to sleep at night! 😉 Yes – there are a lot of flowers – but…there’s a lot of not-flowers, too! Hopefully you’ll enjoy the catalog!! Thank you! 🙂
Love your card, love the sunrise!
Thanks – it was a beautiful day! I could get VERY used to living on the ocean!! 🙂
