Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Sneak Peek for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is For the Boys/Men!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

Because I really just couldn’t help myself, I pulled out a new bundle – well the Suite, really – all available on 3 Jun!  My card today showcases the wunnermus new World of Good Suite – anchored by the Beautiful World stamp set and bundled World Map dies.  And this suite is where you’ll find the amazing World of Good Specialty DSP and my new favorite thing…Antiqued Corners & Slides.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.

I started with some of the beautiful Mossy Meadow paper from the World of Good Specialty DSP that I matted on Early Espresso for the card front.  A smaller piece, also matted on Early Espresso, created the middle panel.

Next, I used a square Stitched Shapes Die to cut down one of the great smaller cards in the new Beautiful World Memories & More Card Pack and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using the circle die in the World Map Dies, I cut a circle from the same scripty design in the World of Good Specialty DSP.  I used the detailed die (this is the one with North America – but there’s ALSO a die featuring the other half of the world!!) to cut a Gold Foil world.

I adhered that to the DSP circle with Liquid Glue and popped it onto the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I threaded some of the new 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim – also part of this Suite and available on 3 Jun – thru an Antiqued Slide and then adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot and a little Liquid Glue.

To finish off, I added an Antiqued Corner at each corner of the scripty panel with a Glue Dot (don’t you think they make it look like a really cool and elegant desk pad?!? Ha – you do now even if you didn’t before!! ) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I used more of the scripty World of Good Specialty DSP and, with my Stamparatus, added a sentiment from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Early Espresso mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got an Early Espresso world map image from the Beautiful World stamp set on the front…

…and more of the Mossy Meadow World of Good Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Okay – who’s with me here?!  World of Good is a SUPER wonderful suite – filled with vintage and masculine-oriented images and the World of Good Specialty paper is just….swoon-worthy!  The Beautiful World stamp set – with the bundled World Map Dies will let you create cards for thank you’s, writers, travelers and just because!

I hope you like!

If you want to recreate this card – all the Stampin’ Up! products you need are listed down below along with the card cuts!  You’ll be able to pick up all the new Suite goodies on 3 Jun (unless you Join Now – and then…you could pick them today.  Just sayin’…).

Now that you’ve seen my card, I hope you’ll take a little time to jump thru all the other projects we have to share. Click any name below, or you can use the Previous Blog button to jump back to Amy’s page or the Next Blog button to see what Karen’s been up to!
