Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! Hope you have a most wonderful day with friends and family! Thanks for taking a minute out of your holiday to take a peek at today’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! We’ve got a color challenge today – and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table! I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
Our colors are simple and classic and elegant so…I pulled out the Bells Are Ringing stamp set and bundled Detailed Bells dies. Plus a couple of fun embossing folders. Take a look-see:
And – here’s the colors we were playing with!
I also borrowed some design inspiration from the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge this week.
I started with two pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock. I used my Stamparatus to stamp a little sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Night of Navy near the bottom of the panel. Then I embossed the panel in the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and matted it on Night of Navy. For the smaller panel, I pulled out the brand new Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (coming on 4 Jan in the 2020 Jan – Jun Mini Catalog). I embossed the panel, matted it on Night of Navy and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
With the Detailed Bells Dies, I cut out two smaller solid bells in Very Vanilla and a larger solid bell in Night of Navy. I also cut some detailed bells – two in Night of Navy and one in Copper Foil.
I adhered the detailed bells to their solid counterparts with Liquid Glue. Then I adhered the smaller bells to the card front with Liquid Glue and popped the large bell on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a little bow from 1/4″ Copper Trim and adhered it with a Glue Dot – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a sentiment from Bells Are Ringing in Night of Navy to a Very Vanilla panel. In the corner, I stamped a small bell in Night of Navy. Over the top, I added a Copper Foil Detailed Bell die cut with Liquid Glue.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Night of Navy mat and into my Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got some Night of Navy bells on the front…
…and a Night of Navy bow on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Easy and elegant – the Bells Are Ringing Bundle, with the beautiful Detailed Bells dies – are perfect for the holiday season! And the sweet sentiments in the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set add just the right touch. I hope you like!
