Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Wrapped in Plaid Masculine Christmas

Hey y’all!  Happy Saturday!  And…it’s OnStage Day – whoo-hoo!!

Today’s card is the perfect Christmas card for the guys in your life!  With sentiments from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set atop Wrapped in Plaid DSP and some super cute fussy cut Santa hats from the Night Before Christmas DSP – I think you’re going to want to make this one.  Take a look-see:

This fun layout is from this week’s Inspire. Create. challenge.

I started by double-matting a piece of Wrapped In Plaid DSP on Cherry Cobbler and Gold Foil to create the card front.

Then, using my Stamparatus, I stamped the sentiment from Perfectly Plaid in Cherry Cobbler – three times.  I cut the sentiments with a Stitched Rectangle Die.

I cut three Cherry Cobbler mats and three Gold Foil mats.  I adhered the Cherry Cobbler to the Gold Foil with Liquid Glue.  Then I popped the sentiments onto the stacked mats with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I lined everything up and adhered all the sentiment stacks to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I carefully fussy cut three Santa hats from the Night Before Christmas DSP and adhered them – with Liquid Glue and a single Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

On the end of each cap, I stuck a Rhinestone Basic Jewel – and the card front was done.  Told you it was easy!

On the inside, I stamped a second Perfectly Plaid sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on a Whisper White panel.  I added another fussy cut Santa hat – with a Rhinestone Jewel on the end – with Liquid Glue.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler and Gold Foil mat and then into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a single fussy-cut Santa hat on the front…

…and some more of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The sweet sentiments from Perfectly Plaid are perfectly suited for a masculine Christmas Card, don’t you think?  And with all the plaid colors in the Wrapped in Plaid DSP – you could come up with all SORTS of color combinations – so…same card configuration in different colors!  One for ALL the men in your life.  I hope you like!

Since Finn’s at home – he said I could share some pictures from Brian King’s Fall Stamp-Along!  What a fun day we had!

There were 130 folks in that room and Brian had gifts for everyone!  I shared some of them on my Stamps-N-Lingers FB page.  My fave was the logo shot glass and bottle of Liquid Glue.  The shot glass is for holding the glue upside down so it’s always ready to go!

Our Southeast Area Demonstrator Development Manager, Tanner Smedley, even dropped by to talk to us for a minute.  WHile he was there – he gave away TEN $50 gift certificates for SU! Product.  And…  I WON ONE!!  Whoo-hooo!!

At the end of the day, we did some make-and-takes.  Brian and his team made each of us a full on “kit”….

which included the makings of a beautiful card with the Bird Ballad Suite…

EVERY kit included these fussy cut shapes.  YIKES!!

Also included was the fixin’s for 12 more cards all using the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP – with blank sentiment shapes.  That way we could make the cards and add whatever sentiment we need!  I’ll be making and sharing those over the next couple of days and weeks!

Before we got gone at the end of the day, one of my teammates (Janet Gruer from Florida) and I got our picture in the Polaroid Frame.

All in all – an awesome day, as Brian’s events are EVERY year!!
