Stampin’ Up! Gather Tidings Together for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s Hop is a sketch challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with –  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the today!

I put a few different elements together for my card – some images from Tidings All Around and Gather Together stamp sets.  Plus a few leaves from the Gathered Leaves, Frosted Bouquet and Lovely Leaves die sets.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch!

I also got some inspiration – for the color palette – from this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.

I started with a panel of Very Vanilla and used my Stamparatus to stamp the wreath from Tidings All Around.  First I stamped it in Pretty Peacock, then I cleaned the stamp, lifted it and turned it very slightly and stamped it a second time in Mint Macaron.

I matted the panel on Terracotta Tile and then used SNAIL to wrap a length of Pretty Peacock 1/2′ Scalloped Linen Ribbon around it, securing it in the back with a couple of Glue Dots.

I added the sentiment from Gather Together in Terracotta Tile.

I pulled out the Lovely Leaves Die set and cut two Pretty Peacock leaves, and the Frosted Bouquet dies and cut two Mint Macaron leaves.  These are adhered with Liquid Glue.

I saw a great idea out on the internet and decided to give it a try.  Using the three emboss-and-cut leaves from the Gathered Leaves die set, I pressed them into my Terracotta Tile ink pad – then I cut them out from a piece of Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  I repeated the inking and cut three more from Terracotta Tile.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere five of the leaves in a cluster.

On a piece of Very Vanilla, I stamped both Gather Together pumpkin images in Terracotta Tile.  Using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush as a “paint brush”, I picked up ink from the lid of my ink pads and colored the large pumpkin in Grapefruit Grove and the smaller in Terracotta Tile.  I fussy cut the images (to avoid a border) and adhered the large pumpkin with Liquid Glue.

I tied a double-length bow from some Mint Macaron Nature’s Twine and added it with a Glue Dot.  The small pumpkin is popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some dots from Tidings All Around in Terracotta Tile and Grapefruit Grove around the wreath and leaves, then gave it a few Pretty Peacock gems from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones and the card front was done.

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Gather Together in Terracotta Tile to a Very Vanilla panel.  With the bough stamp from Tidings All Around, I stamped a couple – twice in Pretty Peacock and twice in Mint Macaron.  I also added some Tidings All Around dots in Terracotta Tile and Grapefruit Grove.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Terracotta Tile mat and into my Mint Macaron card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more Tidings All Around boughs and dots on the front…

…and I repeated the wreath, dots and pumpkin on the back!

Et Voila!  I love how all these pieces – Tidings All Around and the Gather Together Bundle – work perfectly together to create a Fall card!  And – don’t forget about the great dies in your stash that are NOT in the Holiday catalog!  Lovely Leaves and Frosted Bouquet give you some wonderful foliage options to add fullness to your collages!  I hope you like!
