Stampin’ Up! Tidings All Around Wreaths for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s Hop is a sketch challenge – and I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with –  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop!

I went back to the Toile Tidings Suite for this Sneak Peek today – this time…using the Tidings All-Around stamp set and bundled All Around Wreath Dies!  Plus some of that wunnermusly gorgeous Toile Tidings DSP.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch – you can see I turned it on its side! (Lay your left ear on your left shoulder – you’ll see it!)

I started with one of the pretty Garden Green paper from the Toile Tidings DSP, matting it on Soft Suede for the card front.  Next up is a piece of Very Vanilla that I embossed in the new Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder (coming in the 2019 Holiday Catalog), matted it on Soft Suede and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used a few Glue Dots to adhere a short length of 5/8″ Burlap Trim to the embossed panel.

Then I used the more intricate wreath die in the All Around Wreath Die set to cut a Garden Green and a Vellum Card Stock wreath.  I used a few Glue Dots to adhere the Vellum wreath to the Garden Green Wreath.  Then I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the wreath onto the embossed panel.

I cut two Soft Suede branches and two Garden Green boughs –  both in the All Around Wreath Die set – and used Liquid Glue to adhere them to the top of the wreath.

Three little Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots at the top – and a Burlap Ribbon bow adhered with a Glue Dot – finished off the wreath.

I stamped the Toile Tidings sentiment in Real Red on Very Vanilla and used a Stitched Rectangles Die to cut it out.  It was too long – so…I ran it half-way thru my Die Cutting Machine, then moved the die and ran it half way thru from the other direction.  That let me make a custom-sized Stitched Rectangle!

I popped the sentiment onto the wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment in Real Red on Very Vanilla, then added the large wreath image in Garden Green.  I added some Real Red berries, too!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Soft Suede mat and into my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Tidings All-Around wreath in Garden Green and Real Red on the front…

…and more of the Garden Green Toile Tidings DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I think this is one of my favorite Suites – and this Tidings All-Around stamp set, with its bundled All Around Wreath Dies – is certainly a showcase (and show STOPPER) piece of the suite!  I hope you like!
