Good mornin’, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Birthdays! We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
I pulled out a few goodies for this one – including the big Life Is Grand set for the sentiment. I also used the Bloom By Bloom Bundle and a fun little sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays. Take a look-see:
I pulled the layout from the Paper Craft Crew sketch – you’ll see I turned it on its side!
I started by matting a piece of Whisper White on Call Me Clover card stock for the card front.
On the middle panel, also Whisper White, I first stamped the Itty Bitty Birthdays sentiment in Pineapple Punch ink several times on the right side of the panel. Then I adhered a strip of Happiness Blooms DSP to the left side with Liquid Glue and matted it on Call Me Clover. Then I adhered the whole thing to the card front with more Liquid Glue.
I doubled up a length of Calypso Coral 3/8″ Satin Ribbon and adhered it with a couple of Glue Dots. Then I wrapped a piece of Grapefruit Grove Nature’s Twine around the top and tied a simple bow.
For the sentiment, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the Life Is Grand sentiment in Call Me Clover on Whisper White, then I cut it out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits die. I popped it over the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
With the punches in the Bitty Bloom Punch Pack, I made some Whisper White and Lovely Lipstick flowers that I adhered together with Liquid Glue. Then I curled them slightly and stuck them to the card front. I gave each one a Grapefruit Grove Happiness Blooms Enamel Dot and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a second sentiment from the Life Is Grand set in Call Me Clover. I added some Lovely Lipstick flowers from the Bloom By Bloom stamp set. Each flower got another Happiness Blooms Enamel Dot.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Call Me Clover mat and into my Blueberry Bushel card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got some Bloom By Bloom flowers in Lovely Lipstick across the front. I used my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker to give them each a center…
…then I added some Happiness Blooms DSP to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! Gotta love the bold Life Is Grand sentiments, huh? They surely make a statement. And I like how Itty Bitty Birthday adds a little extra sumpin’ sumpin’ in the background, too! Hope you like!
Just a note: the Bloom By Bloom bundle is a lot of fun – and if you don’t already have the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack – now would be a great time to get them on order. You’ll see they’re backordered for a minute – but…at least you’ll get your name in the queue before they run out forever!
Now that you’ve seen my card, I hope you’ll take a little time to jump thru all the other projects we have to share. Click any name below, or you can use the Previous Blog button to jump to Sue’s page or the Next Blog button to see what Shirley’s been up to!

All the different elements work so nicely together but my favorite is the Stamped Sentiments kinda piking our from under the bigger sentiment. Fun detail.
