Stampin’ Up! Frosted Snowflake Showcase!

Morning, y’all!  Hope the week is treating you well as you get ready for the big day!

I’m in Huntsville – worked for a while, did my meeting – then went and had dinner with a friend and his family – and their pretty darned new and awfully cute little baby boy!  Had such a nice time with them!!  It really made the long drive worthwhile!! Oh – and my meeting was actually quite useful – and also worth the drive! 🙂

I made a quick and easy card for you today – and you’ll be able to put it together fast, too – with the Snowflake Showcase and some Frosted Floral Specialty DSP (and your handy stampapotamus!).  Take a look-see!

The layout for this one comes from this week’s As You See It challenge.  I’ve done triptych cards (with three panels) but never a “quadriptych” (also known as a “tetraptych”!).

I started by adhering a Gray Granite piece of Frosted Floral Specialty DSP to a Blackberry Bliss mat with Liquid Glue for the card front.

Next, I cut a 4″ x 3 1/4″ panel (Mint Macaron) into four equal strips of 4″ (coincidence?!?  I think not – that panel was 4″ wide for a VERY good reason!) and then used Liquid Glue to adhere them on their Blackberry Bliss mat, evenly spaced apart.  I popped that onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the Snow Is Glistening sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on Gray Granite.  Then I cut it with a Stitched Shapes Oval die.

From Sparkle Glimmer Paper, I cut a Scalloped Oval and two dies from the wonderful Snowfall Thinlits.

I adhered the sentiment to the Sparkle Oval with Liquid Glue and then adhered it directly to the card front.

With Liquid Glue and some small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered my Sparkle snowflakes.  I topped them each with a Blackberry Bliss Faceted Dot – and the card front was done!

On the inside Whisper White panel, I added a second sentiment from Snow Is Glistening in Blackberry Bliss, then added a few Gray Granite snowflakes.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat and into my Gray Granite card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

On the front of my Whisper White Medium Envelope, I added more Gray Granite Snow is Glistening snowflakes…

…and I added more of the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This Snowflake Showcase is absolutely one of my very favorite Stampin’ Up! goodies – and it’s time with us is growing short!  So – be sure to snap up the Snow Is Glistening stamp set and Snowfall Thinlits while you still can!  My Special bundle is still available – scroll down for more info!  Hope you like!

Snowflake Showcase Bundle Updated!

The White Velvet Sheets – a part of the Snowflake Showcase – have been discontinued.  As advertised at the beginning of the promotion, these products were all “while supplies last”.  And once they run out – they’re not being re-ordered.

What does that mean for my special bundles?  Well – I’ve updated the product list to remove the White Velvet Sheets, and reduced the price accordingly.

But folks – if you’ve been thinking you’d wait until the very end of the promotion period – I’d strongly recommend that you NOT wait another moment!  This has been a WILDLY popular set of goodies – and I’d hate for you to miss out.  The stamp sets, thinlits and trinkets are still available – but…there’s no telling for how much longer!

Check out the flyer below to take a closer look-see!

Here’s the deets:

  • No limits apply during the customer sales period. So be quick while supplies last!
  • Products available while supplies last from November 1, 2018 until November 30, 2018. This means products will only be available until November 30 or while supplies last, whichever comes first. If a product’s supply is depleted before November 30, it will no longer be available for purchase.
  • Items may be purchased in any type of order.
  • Items may be included as part of a Starter Kit!!  Join now!
  • Ordering deadline:  November 30, 2018; 11:50 PM (MT)

Finn Fan Fix

Finn hates when I travel.

He body-blocks the suitcase all the way down the hall.

He leaps up and down trying to see out the garage door as I’m packing the car.

And then – there’s this.

It’s pretty sad, really –  makes me feel bad.
