Hope you’ve got something cool planned for the weekend! It’s supposed to be gorgeous here so hopefully it’ll dry up a little. It’s pretty much a soggy mess. Happy that we don’t have the “snow” phase first!
I have another 2019 Occasions Catalog sneak peek today – is that okay with you?? 😉 This one uses the new Bloom By Bloom stamp set and some Happiness Blooms DSP with an assist from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set. Take a look-see:
At OnStage, we did a make-and-take with the Bloom By Bloom stamp set…
So – I was excited to make another one – this time of my own design!
The layout for this one comes from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
I started with a panel of Whisper White that I embossed in the new Dot To Dot TIEF. As usual, I cut the panel larger than I needed, embossed it, and cut it down to size. Then I matted it on a piece of Pineapple Punch card stock.
I created the vertical strip with a piece of the Happiness Blooms DSP, that I adhered with Liquid Glue. Then I wrapped some Lovely Lipstick ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Pack, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.
The artwork is a piece of Whisper White card stock on which I used my Stamparatus to stamp the large flower from Bloom By Bloom in Lovely Lipstick. Then I added the stem and leaves (all on one stamp) in Call Me Clover.
I made a sticky note mask of the large flower and stuck it on top of the stamped image. Then I stamped more flowers around the image in Pineapple Punch and Calypso Coral.
I added the sentiment from Happy Birthday Gorgeous in Lovely Lipstick at the bottom of the panel. Then I added the little Bloom By Bloom dots in Calypso Coral. I matted the panel on Pineapple Punch and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. And – the card was done.
On the inside, I added more Bloom By Bloom flowers and dots in Pineapple Punch and Calypso Coral to a Whisper White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pineapple Punch mat and into my Lovely Lipstick card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Bloom By Bloom images on the front…
…and some more Happiness Blooms DSP on the envelope flap!
Et Voila! Another winner from the 2019 Occasions Catalog! The Bloom By Bloom stamp set and the Happiness Blooms DSP reside are bright and fun – and will be all ready for you to create beautiful projects! You’ll be able to get them all on 3 Jan 19! Hope you like!

When this does happen, it is usually caused by a higher-than-forecasted demand. Well, this set is NOT on my list of ‘must haves’, but you made a beautiful card from it anyway. Just not my style I guess. Folks talk about how well trained our 4-legged friends are, but actually, I think it is their people who are the ones trained! Yep, they read us well. Even my neighbor’s dog knows if he sits on my front step long enough and looks in the window at me, that food will be forthcoming! And, of course when the brown truck or Fedex comes, he knows treats are in store and comes running.
