Stampin’ Up! Signs of Santa Memories for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! Today’s a color challenge and I know you’ll see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop.

I went the “obvious” route considering the colors for today.  I pulled out my Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card Pack, the matching Cards and Envelopes,  and the Signs of Santa bundle.  Take a look-see:

I’m just assuming you could figure out the Color challenge we had, but…just in case… 😉

My layout is a turned-sideways interpretation of this week’s The Paper Players sketch challenge.

I started with several cards from the Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Pack and cut them down to mat onto Garden Green panels.  I used three different designs and matted and stacked them to create the card front.

For the “ribbon” – I cut a strip off the end of one of the cards and matted it on a piece of Whisper White – then adhered it with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals (one on each end).

The Signs of Santa sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on another cut-down card from the Card Pack, matted on Garden Green and popped onto the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On another piece of Whisper White card stock, I stamped Santa with his list from the Signs of Santa stamp set in Tuxedo Black.  Then I colored him with my Light and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.  I used the Light Daffodil Delight for his buckle.  Then I cut him with the matching die from the Santa’s Signpost Framelits.

I used Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to add Santa to the card and that finished off the card front.

On the inside, I used my Stamparatus to add the Signs of Santa sentiment, presents and two Elves to a Whisper White Panel in Tuxedo Black.  Then I used the Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Blends and my Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker to color everything.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Garden Green mat and into one of the large Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Cards.  I added the card front with more Liquid Glue and the card was done!

On the front of my Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Large Envelope, I added a sparkly Santa Sticker – from the Memories & More Card Pack…

…and I gave the envelope flap a few sparkly hat stickers!

Et Voila!  It always astounds me how many fun – and different! – design elements are snuggled inside a Memories & More Card Pack and the Santa’s Workshop pack is no exception!  It coordinates perfectly with the Signs of Santa bundle – just in time for Christmas greetings!  Hope you like!
