Stampin’ Up! Warm Hearted Halloween for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! This is another installment of the Joint Blog Hop between the Happy Inkin’ Thursday and Happy Stampers Blog Hop ladies!  I hope you really enjoy all the inspiration you can get from our talented folks!

As usual – we have both a sketch and a color challenge and we can use either or both.  I went with both and used one of the new Host-exclusive stamp sets in the 2018 Holiday Catalog called Warm Hearted.  Take a look-see!

Here’s our sketch and color challenge badges!

I started with a piece of Granny Apple Green paper from the new Toil & Trouble DSP, matted on Mango Melody for the card front.  I took my Basic Black card base and embossed the front in the new Swirls & Curls TIEF and then adhered my matted panel to the card front with some Liquid Glue.

The sentiment, from the Warm Hearted stamp set, is stamped twice (cuz that’s how it was meant to be stamped!).  I first stamped the Smoky Slate “shadow” image and then stamped again with the base image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I added some Mango Melody stars-and-dots (also from Warm Hearted) in the corners, then matted it on Mango Melody.

I used some Granny Apple Green 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon to wrap around the sentiment, securing it in the back with a few Glue Dots.  I tied a short little length of Silver Metallic Thread around the ribbon on the left side – pulling it snug.  That made the ribbon “scrunch” right there.

I tied a bow with the ribbon and used a Glue Dot to adhere it – right over the thread-scrunch.  See how that makes it look like I tied that bow right on the card?!? 😉

On a separate piece of Whisper White, I stamped a couple uber-spooky skulls in Granny Apple Green and fussy cut them right quick.  I adhered one with Liquid Glue by the sentiment and popped the second one under the bow with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

A few Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots finished off the sentiment and I popped the whole thing onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside, I added some more Mango Melody stars-and-dots from Warm Hearted – as well as a couple three more Granny Apple Green skulls to a Whisper White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mango Melody mat and then into the Basic Black card base and the card was done!

On the front of my Whisper White Medium Envelope, I added some more stars and dots and skulls…

…and then I covered the envelope flap with a little more Toil & Trouble DSP!

Et Voila!  Not even sorta scary, is it?  I suppose that’s why the stamp set is called…Warm Hearted…and not…So-Super-Scary Hearted.  Or some such! 😉  I LOVE that shadowed sentiment, don’t you?  And it’s so easy to make.  Hope you like!

FAST FUSE ADDED TO CLEARANCE RACK (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST)

Fast Fuse Adhesive

If you’re like us, you thought the days of Fast Fuse were done at Stampin’ Up! (You know . . . because we had already retired the product and everything!) However, our vendor reached out to us because they manufactured a surplus of Fast Fuse applicators and refills, and they offered to sell their excess Fast Fuse inventory to us. We took them up on their offer and purchased 2,500 Fast Fuse applicators and 72,000 Fast Fuse refills.

One of the reasons SU! decided to buy this product was because of feedback they received letting them know that some of you still wanted to purchase Fast Fuse applicators and refills, and this was the perfect opportunity to make it available once again through the Clearance Rack. Fast Fuse refills will be available to you for more than 50% off their original price! Because supplies are limited, you should go right to the online store to place your order instead of waiting to place a workshop order.  These’ll go fast, y’all!

See what I did there?  You’re welcome.

Get them right now while they last!  Order direct thru my Online Store with these links! 🙂
